We had to cancel our abroad holiday plans so needed a weekend away to recharge our batteries. This place was perfect. It was particularly relaxing to be able to have the dogs with us and not worry as there are secure dog runs.  …

Had to cancel a holiday abroad due to my dog needing to start chemo. This was the perfect place to relax, unwind but still have the dog with us. We went with another couple and the fantastic outside space and heater meant we could spend time chatting , putting logs on the fire and just enjoying the peace. The cottage is gorgeously renovated and the dog runs an amazing addition for a stress free dog holiday. We loved our trip to the ‘gin palace’ with its fabulous views. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming. We will definitely return.

Great stay here, fantastic views and privacy. We travelled for a wedding nearby which meant we weren't at the accommodation as much as we would've liked and by the end we didn't want to leave. …

Thank you Clemency and Lennox (lovely couple & the wonderful host) for a really wonderful stay at Bass Rock Pod. The pod was absolutely perfect for us as a family- so well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with absolutely stunning views in the middle of nature. We really loved having a tour of the farm and got to spend great time with the hosts. Enjoyed some produce from the farm too :)We can't recommend this beautiful place highly enough and look forward to returning. Pooja, Jiten & Yash.

I am just home from a two night stay in the Belhaven bay pod with my two whippets. I needed something close to North Berwick so I could visit a friend. It is only a 25 minute drive away from North Berwick which worked well for me. I only booked it two weeks ago and I was delighted to have found it available. I did not meet the owners but I did correspond with Clemency through text on the run up and Clemency could not have been more accommodating. Clear directions were given to me and Clemency even thought to invite me to an event they were attending/organising. I did not have time to attend but the thought was very welcoming nonetheless. The pod itself was outstanding. Everything had been thought of. It was extremely well equipped, warm inside and the views of the coast were magnificent. I did not spend most of the daytime there but spent enough time there to want to come back. The grounds are well kept and it was very quiet and peaceful. Exactly what I wanted. Myself and my two whippets were very happy inside and outside of the pod. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times but that was not too much of an issue for me. My whippets are well trained but nothing stops a sighthound chasing a wild animal if they have the chance. I just made sure to be very vigilant with them and we had no issues. There are a few tracks/country roads around and plenty of opportunity to explore the local area. I spent Sunday evening sitting outside for a few hours with a fire roaring away. I watched the sunset and then went back inside to relax in a what is a very comfortable pod. I was alone on this trip but there was ample space for more than just me and my dogs. The standard of everything inside the pod was excellent. Everything worked and last but not least, I have to mention the complimentary soaps, shampoo and shower gel. It all smelled amazing. I took an extra shower or two whilst there, just because it was so delightful. Well done guys, you really know how to do this and do it well. Thank you for having me. I will be back.

Clemency and Lennox were lovely, and their place was more than beautiful. We felt at home directly and enjoyed the cozy cottage very much. We even got to enjoy some of the duck eggs from their own farm. Thank you!

We had a fabulous three nights in the Bass Rock Pod with our two kids (11 and 7). The pod was super clean and had a really comfy bed and great shower. Everything seemed brand new and high end.The chimenea and BBQ area were really pleasant with gorgeous views. Our kids loved having a tour of the farm and the hosts spent ages with us answering many many (many) questions. We enjoyed some produce from the farm too :)It’s definitely not our usual kind of trip and we absolutely loved it and are very excited to return asap!

We spent a heavenly and relaxing 4 nights in Belhaven Pod. A minutes stroll and we could watch the beautiful lady pigs who would trot over to the fence to say hello. …
