This was our second stay here but the first time under new management so we were not sure what to expect. Right from the start Peter gave us a warm welcome, even though we arrived during the wee hours due to transport problems.There was a problem with the kitchen so we couldn't have any breakfast in the B&B, which was disappointing but it was out of Peter's control and he refunded us part of the money to make up for it.Very comfortable and spacious rooms where we stayed. Loved the fact that our room had a living room with access to the garden. Wif-fi was great and fast (very important for uploading all the photos taken during the day to the cloud, to make room for more!)Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Cherrytree Villa was a comfortable place to stay. Manager was very accommodating and helpful. Our room was spacious however starting to become a little tired. Minor issues with plumbing. I probably expected a bit more for the price. ||||Location is good, just 2km or so from the Royal Mile and easy access to public transport.

Warm atmosphere. Relaxed and trusting staff. The lady who looked after us was very helpful and accessible. All requests were met with courtesy and every effort was made to accommodate our needs. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and served quickly. Good value for the money paid.

Bad: I arrived at 19:45 but no staff here to serve. They just left keys on the door outside. Also, I found a dirty tissue on the floor. The big problem was shared toilet and bathroom on each floor. Very inconvenience.

Excellent value for money accommodation- spacious rooms, clean and tidy. Bathroom could be improved by adding complimentary shampoo etc but everything worked and lots of hot water. Breakfast choice very good and tasty. Host extremely helpful and attentive.
