A spacious and comfortable bedsit, located at the quiet end of the Royal Mile, with well equipped kitchen. Two minutes to walk to a supermarket.  …

The keyless room entry is a bad joke. It never works properly using the phone or the code. Putrid smell from our fridge that we couldn’t get rid of despite cleaning it as best we could with our disinfectant wipes. More towels needed for a 5 day stay. Location good.

Stayed here while I was in town for work - the location was ideal! The apartment I stayed in was stylish, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The wi-fi is great - I know it can be a bit of a mixed bag in Edinburgh! The cafe on the ground floor has superb coffee and pastries and there's a discount for guests. Highly recommended!

Great location!|Problems with getting in and out of the apartment. Door wouldn’t lock with remote key or physical key. Quite frustrating as one of us had to stay in the flat as we couldn’t lock the door. …

Bookings.com states this facility has lifts. It does not. Made getting up several flights of stairs with disabled person extremely difficult. …

The building/rooms look great and very stylish. Unfortunately we had a radiator that was broken and stuck on maximum and maintenance couldn’t repair in the 4 days we were there. …

It was so lovely to stay there. We stayed for two nights. Perfect location, very nice nordic style design. I stayed at the room called Mash Tank. The window faces the street and the bus stop is right in front of it. …

We stayed in the ENGINEERING room. Great location, walking distance to most attractions. Room and bathroom is modern, stylish, clean and practical. Looks out onto the main street. It has a kitchenette. Staff was friendly. Coffee shop downstairs and Scottish pub with traditional food across the road. There is no free parking nearby. Street parking is only available for short periods at a time. Paid OMNI basement parking is quite far from the apartment and we had a rental so that was quite inconvenient.Electronic key locked us out of the building atleast once a day. Also with no internet connection, it's very difficult to enter.

Avoid this and their other apartments in the Altido brand. Their lock and secure system fails when simple batteries expire. No reception, remote call centre resulted i being locked out of our apartment on a Saturday night. …
