Staff were really great. Made us feel welcome and comfortable. Room was basic but immaculate and serviced diligently every day. Food was very good...Haggis Neeps n Tatties especially recommended. Ideally close to Edinburgh and on a main bus route so a fantastic base to explore from.

We went with friends for Sunday Roast and it was very good. Food was plentiful, hot and very tasty and the staff were chatty and knowledgeable about the menu and the premises. Very busy so make sure and book. There are a few good restaraunts in the area which keeps the standards high and the prices fair.

Lunch outside with the dog was excellent, fabulous Scottish sunshine certainly helps but the staff were the equal. Very friendly and helpful and we really liked how many items on the menu had small portion options, great for good food at lunch time. We will definitely be back. Discovered 0% Guinness here too, bonus

We booked a table for four to celebrate our friend's birthday. We were the first guests, and the place soon became busy. Despite the crowd, the service was excellent, and everyone enjoyed their meals. A great experience overall
