It is difficult to find fault with this splendid hotel. The room was tastefully decorated, very comfortable and the most dog friendly room ever with a dog bed, food and water bowls and treats for your fur-baby. …

Stayed 3 days 2 nights and it wasn’t long enough. ||The hotel is set in impressive grounds. You will need a car. It’s miles out of the way, albeit only 10 mins to the airport. …

This is the perfect hotel. Well, almost perfect. Even with the elevators we had to lift our suitcase up a few steps, but that's the only complaint. Although, you cannot connect your devices (or share screen) to the television to enjoy your streaming services. The bathroom had everything you need from a shower/bath to q-tips. The bed had two night stands and built in USB spots, the bed was impressively comfortable as were the pillows. The room was immaculate and so elegant. I love the stuffed highland cow on the bed they use for cleaning services. Also, they offered to make us a to-go breakfast. The grounds around the hotel are beautiful too. Oh and it's about 11.4 miles from the airport. At reception, they can book a hotel for you ahead of time and have them there waiting for you. We needed on for 6:45 in the morning and they set up the night before, fantastic! And it's so close to the airport it was under twenty pounds for the ride. We were only there one night and did not get to enjoy the spa or other services but I am sure based on what I saw they were fabulous as well. If we ever go back to Edinburgh this will be our hotel of choice.

Treated myself to spa day experience which included a 55 minute massage, access to spa and an afternoon tea. ||||Everything is in one place so you can flit easily between pool, treatment rooms, relaxation room and cafe.  …

It is rather odd to get to this hotel passing through an industrial area, being so close to the airport (10-15min car) and yet arriving in a countryside type of environment with sheeps and trees. …

My husband and I are finishing our 2 week trip in Scotland and I chose this hotel at the end because of its beauty and reviews! I prepaid for our stay in 2nd largest suite, and 2 full body massages! …

Attended a wedding here recently. The venue was excellent for meal, speeches and ceilidh with beautiful grounds outside to wander to catch your breath. The real highlight for me however, was the whisky snug located in the main part of the hotel. The decor was very grand and the whisky selection was excellent (lots of old/rare single malts) the prices were a little steep, as to be expected in hotels like this but the setting and selection made up for this, especially as a treat!

Excellent hotel, with friendly, efficient staff who made you feel nothing was a problem. Bedroom was lovely. My bathroom even had a tv over the bath. I had dinner and breakfast both of which was excellent. Amenities at the hotel are great with a small but lovely and clean swimming pool.

End of honeymoon surprise booking for us by Tenon Tours! Absolutely wonderful! The spa was great to unwind from the 1000 mile travel we did around Scotland and the staff was helpful and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were great! Room was superb! We didn’t get a chance to explore the grounds but not because of the hotel, just short time plus it was raining! Close to the airport so it was wonderful and convenient as the final night on our trip. Hotel arranged a taxi to the airport for us in the morning. Couldn’t have been happier with our honeymoon finish!
