We originally picked this hotel for the location but also due to being able to book a twin room with a walk in shower. Accessibility was very important as I was travelling with my father. …

Very disappointing stay, I can't recommend it.Good location, easy to walk to the Grassmarket or West End of Edinburgh, trams are only a few minutes walk.Sadly that's where the good points end. The hotel staff are sadly pretty unhelpful. The rooms are very basic, considering the price I would expect a lot better. The pool area is beyond basic, unless you pay £35 to upgrade for 3 hours to the roof top spa. Cold pool and a small sauna and that's it, no drinks service available, no jacuzzi. Everything else is locked behind an access barrier, really poor.I knew about the rooftop option but you would at least expect a jacuzzi or drinks facility in the standard pool area.Sadly this hotel is trading off the Sheraton brand and doesn't deserve it.

Positives first, |Spa is amazing, truly. |Negatives. |I paid £881 for four nights room only here to celebrate my partners 40th birthday - paid early also which shows faith on my part. …

Great stay at the Sheraton Hotel and Spa. Upgraded to a Castle View room which gave us access to the Club Lounge downstairs as a lovely surprise. The staff couldn't have been lovelier and the room was immaculate. Location is unbeatable and to have a spa in the centre of Edinburgh is incredible. Can't wait to go back!

This hotel has some nice views of the Edinburgh castle. Stayed here during summer ‘24, convenient connecting room options. The food and service are reasonable and although the spa is highly rated, didn’t get to visit it due to time constraints. Overall a decent enough place to stay if visiting Edinburgh.

Loved our stay. The rooms were clean and well kept. The beds and bedding were nice. Opted to include breakfast—it is well worth it. The hotel is centrally located so we walked to most places. Getting to the fitness area is a bit confusing though. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Sheraton Edinburgh in Sep 2024 for a long weekend exploring the city. The hotel location is perfect for exploring the city centre attractions such as Camera Obscura, Edinburgh Castle and The Royal Mile. …
