After a walk round the park, we came in for something to eat. Really happy to find it was dog friendly!Inside was decorated beautifully (I think they've recently renovated) lots of nice pinks and greys.Lovely food menu, a little stuck for choice! I have the spicy meat feast pizza and John had the hunters chicken. The pizza was a little bit cold but more than hot enough to eat and enjoy- lots of flavour and a nice wee kick. Hubby said the hunters chicken was very nice - came with a side salad and chips. We treated ourselves to a cake as we left - their cake section looks amazing! Lots to choose from!Would definitely recommend - lovely wee place!

My wife and I checked in early before spending time with our son and his family who live a few miles away. The room looked nice although the toilet did smell of sewage so we left the extractor fan on. …

I have literally returned home from having a meal (kind of ) at The Mill and Brae. I was with my wife and both of our starters were okay. My wife had no problem with her main , which was Hunters Chicken . I had Lasagne for my main which was honestly dreadful. It was almost all pasta with very little sauce and the ample coating of cheese covering the top was burnt. I think they need someone in the kitchen keeping a close eye on what is being served. In my opinion below standard and not good value for money.

I ordered the avocado on toast with cherry tomatoes with poached egg When it arrived it certainly didn't look like the photo which had a bunch of cherry tomatoes on top of the avocado toast with balsamic glaze and garnish I had 2 cherry tomatoes and no garnish or glaze! The poached eggs arrived when I was half way through my breakfast My granddaughter had pancakes which you could hardly get through they were so hard Needless to say I won't rush back to Mill&Brae

We had an overnight stay to attend a family party (not in the hotel). The hotel was super busy with 2 functions in the afternoon and 2 at night, it had a real lively happy vibe. The staff were super friendly and we felt really looked after and that nothing was a bother.Nathan was brilliant at his job so efficient and appeared to be on top of bar, meals and accommodation with a real flair a natural at hospitality. We also met Sandra who was amazing telling us everything we needed to know and was on hand for anything we needed. It is a hotel that has functions on so if you want an early night it’s not for you but if you want a comfortable, friendly, safe, clean wee hotel then this is it.Thanks we will be back x

Myself, my mum and my son went in for food on Sunday and for me, I won’t be back.||Mum and son ordered the food at the bar and mum requested the drinks asap as mum and I were parched. …

Food was Dreadful .I had fish which was very dry and batter chewy.Probably the Worst I have ever tasted and akso a very small portion .Also waiting over an hour for food .there were 12 of us Inc 3 under 6 yr old so waiting am hour was ridiculous and the place wasn't even that busy. Also Steak Pie was off the menu at 5.30pm on a Sunday . Can't ever see me going back .The one star is for the pleasant staff and nice surroundings

Just this minute came from the New Milli Brae. It’s absolutely beautiful inside as it just been revamped and new name.I ordered Mac Cheese came looking yummy. Until I took a fork full it was pasta boiled with grated cheese on the top. I took it back and the boy was lovely told me he would get a fresh one made. The fresh one arrived the cheese sauce was just milk.I uses to be a wee regular with our extended family. But I don’t see us ever going back, this has been our second time in 4 weeks. Why change something that wasn’t broken. The menu has been halved all our favourite have gone. The food is really disappointing.
