Have to give it 5 stars. Incredible value for money. I've stayed in plenty places that were much more expensive that didn't offer anything like the value. …

Served promptly and the staff were friendly and attentive. Had chicken goujons to start and there were 5 good sized ones on the plate. Usually I expect about two or three so that was a plus to start off with. …

Don't let the outside fool you. We had a great experience staying here. Staff was helpful and the room was huge. We ate dinner at the restaurant, which was very good and had amazing service. Great breakfast again in the morning with fabulous service. Would recommend staying here.

On approach from the outside the hotel looks like it's something from a 70s time warp and I had serious doubts about what it would be like inside. Soon as I walked through the doors I was pleasantly surprised. Reception was manned by a very pleasant young lady who was very helpful check in was hassle free and fast. My room looked like it had just been refurbished along with the ensuite both rooms were of an excellent size and quality. I ain't in the restaurant which was very well priced I had a 2 course meal for £12 which was worth far more. The location isn't the best but the inside makes up for that. I would definitely stay here again

The Good- Nice bedroom, newly refurbished bathroom, slept very well. Staff were very friendly.||The Bad- New bathroom spoiled by the rusty old bin as shown in picture. Surely a few pounds for a new bin? …

Nice Hotel we booked for evening dinner Sunday evening. The menu had good choices & 3 courses for £12 or 2 courses for £10 is excellent value. I am a Celiac sufferer so finding somewhere with a menu that could be adapted for people like me was a bonus. The chocolate fudge cake was lovely. The staff were efficient friendly & polite. Good meal all round 🍴

We had a very disappointing experience when we attended for Christmas Day as a family of 20. The food was mediocre throughout at best and the service was unnacceptable. When we made reference to the 2.5 hours it had taken for our mains to come out, the waitress asked a member of our family if they had ever worked in a kitchen. Clearly they felt this was acceptable. Understanding that Christmas Day can be a challenge but to respond in that manner is highly unprofessional. We were also advised that other tables who were seated well after us were being served before hand and quicker because they were easier to manage. Again, just being paid lip service. (If you can't manage large parties, do not take the booking)!I would not consider this as an option in the future, nor recommend to anyone wishing to dine or stay at this hotel. Ruined our afternoon, on a rare family occasion where we all managed to be together. This is my first time ever reviewing a hotel / restaraunt. I have made the effort purely due to how poor our experience has been. Staff in severe need of training and a better attitude!
