I would have happily put 5 stars in as I was very happy with the hotel I've picked due to the location and how big and convenient the room is. Breakfast was great. Bed and pillows could be softer. The only reason I knocked off one star is because of the attitude the front desk reception gave to us this morning while we were checking out. When we first came to the hotel, we were given 2 vouchers to claim four free nespresso pods and I thought I'll just claim these when I go home since we have the same machine at home. When I tried to claim upon check out, the receptionist looked affronted and said "you can only use these while you're staying here". I was a bit surprised and it seemed like it was an inconvenience to her. We even joked that we have the same machine at home that's why we're picking it up late but we were just ignored. The main thing I can say is, why give out free vouchers only to let customers feel like we actually haven't paid enough to this hotel to get these so called "free things". I was made to feel like it's a crime to ask for it when I was about to leave.Other reviews in here are accurate and STAFF could be a lot nicer.Otherwise, we had a very good stay due to the location, the nice room and the convenience of it all. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel which is centrally located in the city, near a tube station and lots of shops and restaurants. The room was very modern with excellent facilities. The main feature that stood out in this hotel are the staff. …

Amazing studio with everything you could possibly need plus a lot of space. And I mean a lot of space! :)|Super comfortable and huge bed. Great lighting through the big window and a partial view from the river. …

Great hotel in a fab location. Communication needs to be improved (better pillows are available at reception- if you ask!) and there’s a coffee pod voucher given on arrival (look in your key card pouch) as the staff don’t tell you anything. Also some of the staff need to be a little nicer to guests when they are busy. It’s not our fault your reception areas badly designed for busy periods! Otherwise I would recommend this hotel.

Well located Glasgow apartment style hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and well equipped (stovetop, dishwasher, cookware, kettle). Coin-operated laundry inside the building much appreciated. Very good service from the staff, especially Ms. Karen at the front desk. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was so beautiful and clean, the rooms were even more beautiful. We was so happy with our stay, I had no faults at all. The staff were so kind to us, always greeted us with a friendly manner. The rooms had everything you needed! The breakfast was so yummy! Deffo worth a try if you are thinking about it, it’s a buffet type so you can get anything you like and everything is freshly made.Thank you!

I found the Aparthotel Adagio in Glasgow online, while planning our visit to Scotland with my in-laws who had never been to the UK, and our last trip was before Covid.  …

Staff is very friendly. The location is amazing. The rooms are ok, but bedding smells a bit and sheets, pulls out beds, couches, the actual beds are permantly stained, which is off-putting. The beds are extremely firm, and the room should come with AC instructions and restrictions. It's autumn, and the room thermostat has auto resets to 21 degrees celcius. There is a minimum and maximum you can put it at, which would've been nice to know, ive called the front desk every night and had it set to 29 degrees, it seems a lot, but because the hotel is not insulated well, it did not maintain heat. When I called the staff at first, it was because I thought the thermostat was broken, and I was not able to manage it without a app, the staff in the beginning, played off setting the thermostat at my desired, to later in my stay tell me they couldn't accommodate the 29 degrees, it's not allowed, there is a temperature restriction of 24 degrees. I am sure they have a description somewhere, but it's not in the room, and not every staff memeber will explain that. Was grateful that some staff were accommodating, and other staff explained the restrictions. The room also had an iron that ruined a dress because it leaked water. Looked as if someone previously dropped it, thr TV stand door hinge was missing hardware , so broken, and the shower post that holds the head was loose, so it fell on us.They fixed the shower right away, repair person was nice.Their kitchen does not have a cutting board, seasonings, or saute/non stock pans. Just s single pot, colander, and circle baking dish. (Ironic, since there is no oven to bake with) If you book this room with the idea of cooking, bring your own spices, and paper towels at minimum. They do supply dish detergent, sponges, a single rag, cleaning toweltte, dishwasher tablets, i wish they did include a broom, not just a hand held brush and dustpan.Their community washer and dryer take 3 pounds per wash and dry. Their washing facilities should include disinfectant wipes, or deoderizing sprays. Mayve some signs that advise people not to leave their laundry to prevent mildew smelling machines. People leave their clothes in the single machines that we're working at the time. They only have 1 washer and 1 dryer working during our stay. They do not sweep the floors on there, have a trashcan for lint trap disposal, or instructions on how to use their appliances.Breakfast is ok, only critique is we've seen them pack up before the end time for breakfast. All in all, I believe they need to1. Invest in mattress protectors and replace once strained.2. Provide a cutting board, saute pan and some complimentary spices/oils to cook with upon request.3. Place instructions and rules on all appliances, or in a central location in the hotel room. Especially the dishwasher, how are people supposed to know in order for it to turn on you have to close it within 4 seconds for it to turn on? (Had to look extensively for manual instructions online) or how do they expect people to know how to operate the thermostat, and that their are restrictions?4. Add disinfectant supplies, advisories to stay with laundry, and a waste bin to the laundry room.

Excellent location for shopping and taking the subway. Hotel is close to Argyle and Buchanan streets, where most shoppers and tourists hang out. Hotel doesn't offer free daily housekeeping. You must pay to have your room cleaned. However, for stays more than 8 days, housekeeping will come by once and clean at no charge.

Great experience with Adagio - just a single night in Glasgow, but needed to adjust room one room to two at the last minute. A woman named Happy helped us by phone and her service was terrific - some of the best I've experienced in the hotel market. The front desk check-in people were equally helpful and friendly. The property is new and modern. The rooms are well designed and super comfortable. The kitchenettes are better equipped than most of the airbnb's we stayed in during this trip. We'd definitely recommend.
