Well..we may have found the ultimate B and B... even better than my last reviewed one (Eastbourne). Firstly, the location, in the Somerset Levels, which affords this place, is fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, and the River Tone runs behind the property...then you meet the owner Tina and her lovely team who look after you, a warm, wonderful welcome. The room we had (twin) was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Beautifully dark and quiet as well when the lights are off, which add to a peaceful sleep. Breakfast had the freshest eggs (laid by the resident hens!) and was very tasty. We are now genuinely planning to go back next year...go on..put the soulless multi Corp hotels aside and treat yourself to a place like the Morlands, your heart will thank you 💜🌟

Very pleasant stay in the annexe and Tina goes over and beyond to help you have a really wonderful stay. Great food and it was good to watch all the birds in the garden with the chickens running free too. Thoroughly recommend.  …

What a fantastic tranquil and relaxing place Tina has here. She is so welcoming, and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The breakfast....., (full English) was excellent, Lovely sunny day, so we had it sat out in the garden with the free range chickens who had kindly donated the tasty eggs.Stayed in the double room,.... the king size four poster bed was sooo comfortable, and liked the idea of the sweeties in the room as well as the usual tea and coffee facilities.Local pub...., (King Alfred) was a short 15min walk along the river, where we had a very filling Sunday lunch, (would recommend booking first) with a great selection of ales. Try to leave room for pudding.Loved sitting up on Tina's riverbank terrace with a glass of wine, watching the sun set.All in all, a short but fantastic stay, will defiantly be back for more.

I have been working at a manufacturing site in Burrowbridge and needed very local accommodation. This was perfect. I stayed in the self sufficient annex for 2 nights. It was warm and I could cook my late dinners as all the amenities were included. I also enjoyed the Breakfast cooked by Tina. This was provided in dining room conservatory which was lovely as the birds were feeding in the garden and the 3 chickens did what chickens do, ie roam around with great attitude and personality. This was the perfect balance for my hectic work. Friendly hosts, great food, great location, very clean and comfortable. It's a big thumbs up from me!

Well what can I say this place was amazing down a nice quiet lane in Burrowbridge. We arrived and Ray was waiting to greet us straight away so friendly and welcoming. We then met Tina and again friendly and welcoming. We met the Chickens and Freya the dog. We were shown to our room which was a four poster bed very comfortable. The whole room was clean and inviting, chocolates to greet you 👍.We had a tick sheet for Breakfast which was absolutely brilliant and sat outside with the birds and peace and quiet. Tina showed us the river walk which was really nice and you can sit by river also..We loved this place and everything about the visit so much we already said to Tina and Ray we going to book again and same room. Even to wake with bird song and views across fields was lovely. Tina and Ray are definitely super hosts and I certainly would recommend booking..

This was my second visit, and just as good as the first.||Tina is really good at what she does - beds and breakfasts. Really good. ||But what's best is Tina - her personality and chickens.||||Burrow Bridge is a great place from which to explore.
