beautiful hotel and such nice staff!! my mother, sister and i absolutely loved it here!! poppy made our cocktails daily, they were super good, Patzy was soo helpful, always gave us recommendations on what we should see in our time in samui! Our stay was simply amazing. The room was beautiful, clean, & comfortable. The food at Long Dtai is delicious, and the staff, especially Patzy and Kalza Sao are so kind. The cocktails Poppy made were delicious. We are truly going to miss the hotel & the employees!

We LOVED our stay. It is a beautiful small resort everything feels very „family“ like as you quickly know the whole staff personally. We stayed at Ocean View Villa number 6 which was stunning. The internet connection in the whole resort is superb. Super fast and accessible everywhere. Thanks so much for this amazing time we had.

The hotel is suitable if you are not interested in beautiful views from the windows, do not need the sea, and you plan to spend all your time in the hotel. Otherwise, it is better to choose another hotel.This is not luxury - for $400+ per night you can find much more interesting hotels.The devil is in the details:1) From the windows and pool of the deluxe villa there was a view of an unkempt clearing and dry trees.2) In general, there is a feeling of unkemptness in the garden. Before this hotel, we lived in the Ritz and Tongsai Bay, which are located in the jungle - everything looked much more tidy there3) Privacy is an illusion. Our villa was visible from almost all sides due to the huge holes in the bamboo fence and an excellent view from the sea, which was absent most of the day and other tourists were walking there.4) The outdoor shower is located next to the path along which guests and staff walk; you can clearly see through the holes in the fence when you are taking a shower.5) I was surprised that their most expensive villa on a separate island was in direct view from my villa6) You can go to the village from the hotel either along the spit during low tide, or by using a boat/truck. This is inconvenient, and the further path to the main road runs through a stinking river and a path with large puddles and quite heavy traffic.7) You won’t be able to swim in the sea, because most of the daylight hours are gone. And when it is, the water will be waist-deep at best.The villa itself is not bad, the breakfasts are delicious (at one of the breakfasts I asked for an omelette without meat, but it turned out to be with bacon), but the whole impression is spoiled by the bad view and unkempt territory. I don’t understand why, with all the luxury of the hotel, it was not possible to tidy up the territory?
