I used it for my first night in Ikebukuro!I don't think there were any particular problems with the facilities or service!I was surprised to find that the air conditioner and air purifier filters were so dirty.I cleaned the filter of the air purifier, but I wasn't able to clean the air conditioner completely. When I turned it on, it smelled so bad that I had no choice but to sleep without air conditioning. I'm glad it wasn't midsummer...

Recently, there was no cleaning service for many consecutive stays, so it was written that towels would be replaced, but when I returned, I couldn't find any towels that had been replaced.I thought I had to take out the towels from the room, but my bag was gone...I didn't know what to do so I used the same one for two days. Other than that, it was comfortable, and although it was a bit of a walk from the station, it wasn't a bother.

Booked a non-smoking room for 3 nights on klookWhen we checked in on the first night, the first receptionist said, "Because the non-smoking rooms are full, we need to sleep in the cleaned smoking rooms." I had no choice but to accept it. When I went upstairs, I found it was so smelly that I would feel dizzy. I went to the counter and asked again, and the reply said that I couldn't change the room on the second or third night (both were full, so I couldn't change).After returning to the room, the more I thought about it, the more wrong it became. Why were we forced to stay in the smoking room when the non-smoking room was full? And the hotel has no intention of compensating (non-smoking rooms are more expensive than smoking rooms)We went downstairs again and met the second receptionist. After checking, he told us in an unkind way, "Klook just booked the smoking room for us, so we can't change it." Again, we didn't know whose problem it was because you There is a gap with the first statement. At one time it was because it was full, and at another time it was because the order was wrongly ordered by Klook.Anyway, we checked out early the next morning. This was not my first time staying at Ikebukuro resol. I had stayed in the "female-only floor" with my family in 2023, and I felt very good at that time. Pros- Friendly Staff that speaks English- Provide additional pillow when asked- Self help amenities- Shower amenities is good- Suitable for light traveller or single travellerCons- More then 10mins unshelted walk to Ikebukuro Station- Room is small, unable to open 2 luggage and we used top open luggage that doesn't spread into 2 luggage space- Dusty air conditioning, thick layer of dust on the AC unit- Bed is firm and hard, gave us backache- Original pillow is too soft and uncomfortable- Nearest Lawson is not stock up all the time- Stayed 4 days, room cleaning only on the 3 day which is the main night we are packing up. We decided to skip it as the timing is not great.- No coin laundry machine within the premises.Review from a regular traveller to Ikebukuro and stayed in many Hotels within the area.
