We stayed at the Umbrella Guest House while hiking the Michinoku Coastal Trail(MCT). The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Yoko was a great host and spoke English well. This is a special place for the community, and families gather here to connect. I highly recommend staying at Guesthouse Umbrella if you are hiking the MCT or if you are visiting this area of Tohoku!

I have visited various guesthouses, but I think this is the best one from a child's perspective and a parent's perspective😁It's a wonderful space where guests can naturally interact with each other.We sincerely support hosts who are rooted in their local communities and tackle local issues.

I stayed here with my 3 children!There were lots of swings and toys at the inn, and the kids played all the time without getting bored!Thanks to that, I was able to spend some relaxing time with other guests while drinking tea for the first time in a while!It was so much fun to be able to enjoy the atmosphere of the drinking party!Umbrella was an inn that both children and adults could enjoy!I would like to stay there again and talk with various people!

Recommended for traveling with children!The kids will have fun with the bunk beds in the room, the swings in the kids' space next to the living room, and the spacious kids' space in the basement.You can do karaoke in the living room, have a training room in the basement, and have a real barrel sauna outside! Fun for the whole family, both children and adults. It seems that even children can use the barrel sauna, so my 5-year-old son also made his sauna debut! The owner has a wonderful personality and the children seemed to like it so much that they said they wanted to go again.There is also a park about 10 minutes away by car that has large playground equipment and indoor playgrounds.

I stayed here privately with my friend and family from January 27th (Sat) to 28th (Sun).I was very satisfied with my night with the owner's courteous and flexible response and the excellent facilities.Especially the barrel sauna was the best! Warming up slowly and bathing in the open air while looking at the winter starry sky...it was the ultimate comfort.It was so fulfilling that both adults and children couldn't play it all in one night, and we also had the opportunity to try our hand at catching eggs, which made for some great memories.I would like to use it again.thank you very much!
