nice large rooms with spacious bathrooms.restaurant/terrace by the sea. the menu is large but half of it is not available. The immediate area is less beautiful, for a good restaurant you have to take a taxi to the center.

Place is very bad karma. Unsafe,unhealthy, stay at risk to yourself. Very unpleasant experience there. Location is out of the way with little families and bad food. Do not take the risk. It may be cheap,but you get what you pay for. Too far from central Lovina you need a driver to go anywhere.

We stayed at Mandahara Chico Bungalow for two nights and had a wonderful experience. We booked a triple room on the ground floor and an apartment upstairs where we could sleep six (2 double beds and two extra mattresses). Although it wasn't the most luxurious accommodation during our Bali trip, it was definitely our favorite.The rooms were equipped with well-functioning air conditioning and excellent bathrooms. The apartment even had open bathrooms, allowing us to shower with a beautiful sea view! The beds were ok and the linen was fresh and clean.The owners, a friendly couple, were always willing to help. The food was typical Indonesian and Balinese, and some of the best we tasted during our trip. The milkshakes and juices were pure and tasty, not diluted like in other places. Our children especially enjoyed the delicious toasts and jaffels (croque-monsieurs) with ham and cheese, and even with chocolate spread!The hotel is located a bit away from the busy main street, accessible via two streets, which creates a pleasant tranquility. It is only a few meters from the sea, which makes the stay extra special. As elsewhere in Bali, there are local vendors offering souvenirs, but they are always friendly and respectful. For us, this adds to the charm of Bali.We walked along the beach all the way to the dolphin statue, which allowed us to avoid the busy road. It was a wonderful walk of about an hour. We did take a taxi on the way back in the evening as there are many ropes on the beach for boats that would be too dangerous in the dark.All in all, Mandahara Chico Bungalow was a wonderful stay and a highlight of our Bali tour.

We had an appointment to leave on the boat and see the dolphins at 9 am. We arrived early and stopped here for breakfast. 2 pancakes and 2 fruit juices for only €2! Delicious and then with a splendid life: sunrise and sea.
