The homely atmosphere and the ability to take turns to monopolize two kinds of precious hot springs made me consider going to the public baths, but decided not to (lol). The food was delicious and the portions were just right for me when I was young. It was good.

I used it on a weekday in July 2024 while traveling alone (by car).I found this ryokan on the Rakuten Travel website because it was a place where I could stay alone, was conveniently located, and had good reviews, and I made a reservation the day before my stay.Unfortunately, due to bad timing, I was unable to book a plan that included dinner, but I stayed with a plan that included breakfast. The location was probably the best as it was close to Yubatake and very convenient.Instead, the inn parked the car a little further away and drove us back to the parking lot.Although the inn is old, it is quaint and very clean, so it was a comfortable stay. There are only 9 guest rooms, and the inn seems to be run mainly by a married couple, so we were treated with great care.As for the hot springs, we have our own source, and together with the source drawn from the Yubatake, you can enjoy two types of hot springs.I would definitely like to use it the next time I visit Kusatsu.

The food at this inn is delicious and very entertaining. The hot water from the private source was also very good. The customer service is also great, so I would like to come again.

This was the inn I stayed at on my second night at Kusatsu Onsen. The building has a bit of history, but it is clean and doesn't feel old or unpleasant at all; in fact, it has a nice historical feel. There are two types of hot springs, and the selling point is that they use their own hot springs, which can only be accessed at Kusatsukan. The bathhouse itself is small, but when I actually entered it, it was almost reserved for private use, and I was able to relax and soak in the hot water, and of course it was a good bath. The food is also very good and there are many dishes that make the best use of the ingredients. Also, I stayed the night without meals and ate convenience store food, so I ate Kusatsukan's food and it was a meal that revitalized my body (I took photos, but some were so delicious I forgot to take them). As for the service, everyone was very friendly and attentive. Other than that, there are discount coupons for nearby facilities, and the tap water is spring water from the mountains, so the water is so cold that you can't help but drink it. The location is very close to Yubatake and has great access, but on the other hand, some people may be concerned about the noise. It's a very nice accommodation, so I highly recommend it!

I went there for one night and two days.First of all, as others have said, I am very satisfied with the attentiveness of the staff. Of course the food was delicious! There aren't many guests staying at the hot springs, so unless you're covered, you can almost reserve it for yourself. There were two hot springs, and my skin became smooth. As for the room, it cannot be denied that it is old. Also, there is some noise from the surroundings, but I don't recommend it for people who are sensitive. The location is very good, so I think the cost performance is good overall!

A hot spring inn near Kusatsu Onsen Yubatake. There was a warning on the homepage about the noise, but thanks to the location of the room and the number of guests, we were able to spend a very quiet time. Wakanoyu, which has a private hot spring source, was not too hot and I had a relaxing time. The food was delicious.Bath: Wakanoyu, a private hot spring, is lukewarm. The Shirahata source is hot. Almost completely rented out.Food...delicious. The meat is tough. Delivery speed is very fast.Room... spacious. Although it was early summer, the nights were quite hot. There was something like an air conditioner.

The private hot spring bath had just the right temperature and felt really comfortable. The clean, old-fashioned appearance of an inn and the warm customer service from the staff will make you feel at ease. I chose this place right in front of Yubatake because I was looking forward to the hot spring town. The location was good and I was able to enjoy visiting pubs and other places. I was only able to stay for one night, but next time I would like to stay for two.
