The hotel is very centrally located, everything can be easily reached on foot. If you don't reserve early enough, you have to park your car a few hundred meters away from the hotel. Rooms were in need of renovation but functional. The background noise was unusually loud (day and night) due to the nearby train tracks, but it was bearable. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly.

The Hotel Rheinstein is located directly on the Rhine and therefore also on the Rhine cycle path. We were cycling during the 2024 European Football Championship and chose the hotel for an overnight stay because of its central location. The international match was broadcast on several screensThe room was big enough, but some of it was getting old. The bathroom, which was relatively new, had a shower curtain that was too short. Therefore, all the towels were used for the subsequent damage control. The transition from the bathroom to the room revealed that it was not an isolated incident.The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Our bicycles could be safely stored in an adjacent warehouse.

Not a really nice hotel. The gentleman at the reception was very nice but the rooms leave a lot to be desired - very run down and not really clean. Unfortunately, we were unlucky that even the television didn't work. When asked, they said they were currently experiencing Vodafone disruptions.You shouldn't necessarily walk around alone outside in the dark.

Under no circumstances book! The hotel is not worth the money!The rooms were very small and dirty, the intermediate door to a STRANGE room was open at the top, so we actually had a room together. The lock on the room door was broken and the door slammed with every step in the hallway. The beds were not made! Only the sheet was on the bed.The parking lot is extremely narrow and we could only just use it with our Audi.

Find another hotel.Rooms are a disaster.It's super dirty in the hallway. Many things are broken.Man hears everything through the door to his neighbor.195€ for the double room including breakfast, tourist tax and parking space are simply far too much.

Cake very expensive, marzipan cream cake was very dry, marzipan couldn't be tasted, cake I ordered was suddenly no longer there... cappuccino wasn't particularly good either. Long waiting time even though it wasn't full, service seemed overwhelmed.

The location is great, as it is very central and right on the Rhine. The staff is very courteous and solution-oriented. We were allowed to choose between 2 rooms and were well served. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Price/performance top. Highly recommended!

This hotel is highly recommended for train lovers. Every type of regional train and all freight trains that are on the market are represented here. Even at night. Since there is no air conditioning, you can always hear the barrier signals as a warning. That night was just an absolute horror. Never again!

The floor in the room wasn't clean at all. Since it was quite warm, I opened the window. You can hear about the traffic and the train all night long. The view was good and the location is also good. If you're drunk and just sleeping, it's enough. But not me.

A solid hotel right on the Rhine. If you are very sensitive to noise, you should avoid the rooms at the front with a view of the Rhine. Quite a few freight trains pass through at night.Otherwise: very nice, courteous service.Breakfast: sufficiently solid, without much variety.Rooms: functional, air conditioning is available. However, the hose has to be hung through the open window. WiFi works in the rooms, but not in the restaurant itself.Location: ideal for being right at the train station, the ferry or in Drosselgasse.Local: varied cake counter, there are some warm/cold dishes.Closes relatively early, sometimes around 9 p.m. (probably dependent on visitors)Roof terrace: there should be a bit more cosiness here. Visually, the terrace is not very inviting.
