All employees are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel may not be the most modern but the price is right. The on-site events and of course the Xaver Bar are always worth a visit, especially for whiskey fans 👍🏻

The furnishings in the rooms are older but clean and not at all shabby. When you enter, you notice the loving arrangement of the towels. The rich breakfast buffet, which can be booked for a bargain price of €5.00 per person, is highly recommended. The service staff is attentive and friendly. The food in the restaurant is very good. We'd love to come back

One of my favorite hotels. Umd if you like whiskey then you have to go here. Over 3000 open whiskeys and of course other drinks. It's actually like coming home ❤️

Once a dragoon, always a dragoon. Great starting point to all fun destinations - Oberammergau etc. - Food absolute recommendation, individual wishes are taken into account without any problems - PLV Suuper - Friends of whiskey take note of Xaver's whiskey bar, super nice owner, right across the street.A small note for the recent negative reviews (Franziska Maier, Adrian Mikoc). The people did not seek an open conversation nor did they raise any defects (drain smell) on site. Of course, if you taste the whiskeys you brought with you in a restaurant and whiskey bar... Next time the ladies and gentlemen should visit the campsite.

If I only had to rate the rooms, unfortunately it would only be enough for 2 stars. Although the rooms are clean, they appear old and worn, and the strong smell of drains in the bathroom had a negative impact on the overall impression. A renovation is urgently needed here. However, what raises the rating to 3 stars is the food. The kitchen offers a great selection, from classic dishes to special types of steak such as bison, kangaroo and water buffalo. Everything is freshly prepared and well seasoned without being too salty. The breakfast is also unbeatable for the price of €5 - filter coffee and tea are included in the price, which is often significantly more expensive at other hotels. The service was also very friendly and helpful, which made the overall stay a little more pleasant.

As hotel guests, we (two adults with a baby) stayed at the Gasthof zum Dragoon for 3 nights. The reception and service were rather subdued. Parking spaces are available directly at the inn. We had a large, outdated room on the 3rd floor (not accessible by elevator and without a balcony), some broken tiles in the bathroom (risk of injury) and some mold in the joints in the shower, and there was hardly any water coming out of the faucet at the sink Water, the mattresses were very hard (although, as we all know, this is in the eye of the beholder), a baby bed with a blanket and a cuddly toy was provided to us, but without a proper mattress so we couldn't let the little one sleep in it.Breakfast is offered as a buffet, nothing special but OK. Dinner in the restaurant was good. All in all, we can say that we will not visit the inn again because the price-performance ratio is not at all good.
