Everything was wonderful! One of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in so far!Very lovingly and simply furnished, so that you immediately feel at home. The Krüger family welcomed and said goodbye to us very warmly. The breakfast was just great and very varied, we were very happy!!The only regret we have is that we didn't stay longer.We would love to come back and are really looking forward to it! :)

Nice little hotel. Quiet location close to the lake. Stopped here during a bike tour. Was a very pleasant stay. Bicycles can only be parked and connected outside. No locked room available. Can definitely recommend the hotel.

All in all, unfortunately no more than 3 stars, because:It is not particularly centrally located.The shower curtain mentioned by previous speakers may be useful. Another solution would have been preferableThe breakfast consists of baked rolls, cold cuts/cheese platter, which is quite ok. Coffee machine not intended for commercial use.Overall, there are definitely alternatives in the area.

I spent a night there in the suite with my wife. When we arrived we met the owners of the hotels. Both were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and invited you to linger. There is a breakfast room right next to the suite. You can get free coffee and tea there all day long. The breakfast was quite good. I think it's completely okay for the price. From the hotel you can easily explore the Steinhuder Meer. The circular hiking trail leads past the hotel. Steinhude, Wunstorf and Neustadt can also be easily reached by bike. We would come here again.

We spent 3 nights here in the summer. The location is really very nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the standard of the room (everything was very simple, e.g. shower curtain in the bathroom, hardly any light, blackout curtain was too small for the window) did not correspond to what you would expect for the price/night. The room was very small. The cleanliness was unfortunately poor, with cobwebs in the corners and a not particularly clean floor.Breakfast was simple but OK.For me it's not a boutique hotel, but more of a B&B. But the cleanliness needs to be significantly improved.

We were there from August 19th. as of August 20th unfortunately only one night on site. Freshly renovated/modernized, small private hotel (owner-managed). Beautiful, friendly, bright rooms, comfortable box spring beds. You can get free coffee around the clock in the breakfast room. If there are any problems, someone can always be reached by phone. We only found one employee on site who was responsible for setting up and "maintaining" the breakfast buffet, but that wasn't a problem. You pay i. d. R. by bank transfer OR on site in cash. Parking spaces are available at the house. Very good value for money. The only downside (if you're sensitive to that sort of thing) was the fact that there's no air conditioning in the rooms, so in the current heat you're basically forced to sleep with the windows open. This wouldn't be a problem if there was insect gauze in front of the windows, which unfortunately isn't the case. For this reason, the night was "scarred" and restless. Maybe a recommendation for next season, it also protects the fresh, white walls from the obligatory residue from insect hunting :-) All in all, highly recommended!

Nice, family hotelMore intended for older couplesDeductions:Room: only available socket in the hallway, none on the bed, none on the desk (which can only be used as a shelf anyway)Service: on site CASH PAYMENT ONLY, even for the "kiosk" (chips, chocolate, drinks) you have to pay with coins (no money back).Location: You cycled around the Steinhuder Meer on the first morning or hiked on the first day. For all other excursions you need a car. Quiet and located away from the town center

Super nice, newly renovated country hotel. The owners are very helpful and take loving care of their guests. The rooms are also nicely furnished and everything you need is there. The hotel is located directly on the Steinhuder Meer and delicious restaurants are within walking distance.I'll definitely be back! :-)

Last year I stayed in the newly designed Landhotel Strandallee for the first time.The location is fantastic. Walked briefly across the street and you reach the canal of the Steinhuder Meer, which you can explore in more detail with a kayak or standup paddle board. In winter you should wear a good wetsuit 😊If you're not a water lover, you also have the option of taking long walks to beautiful viewing platforms.You can enjoy a wonderful sunset with a wine at the jetty not far away near the yacht club and sailing club.The hotel's rooms are lovingly designed. I was allowed to stay in the sea view room, which has a beautiful view of the canal. In the morning I enjoyed the sunrise with breakfast on the balcony.The hotel operators are a very courteous and helpful couple who will make your stay as pleasant and relaxed as possible.All in all: an absolute recommendation! I've already booked again for the summer!

Sweet family hotel in a great location with a dream view. We spent a weekend in the countryside at the Steinhuder Meer and were thrilled by the location directly on the lake. Check-in was uncomplicated and we received extensive help when we asked about good walking routes. Rooms were clean and newly furnished. Overall: Great service! We'd love to come back.
