On the way to Sylt we stopped at the Hotel “Zur Linde” for an overnight stay. The hotel and restaurant are very well maintained, rooms are spacious, functional and very quiet, great breakfast buffet. The restaurant should also be mentioned; we had a very good meal here in the evening. The entire house is an absolute recommendation and we felt very comfortable.

It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious, home-style meal.My linden grill plate was just perfect. And fish plates are also recommended here. Before that, there were a few fresh, fluffy slices of bread with a remoulade dip in a glass. Something different than Knobidip.Three types of meat were served on my generously filled grill plate, all tender and well-cooked, juicy and placed on a mixture of steamed onions and spring onions as well as fresh fried mushrooms. Plus obviously homemade, excellent herb butter (not run-of-the-mill herb butter or the like) arranged in a visually appealing way on an orange slice. There were also iFrench fries in a separate bowl. If I wanted to complain at a very high level, I would rather have homemade fries. Alternatively, you can also order baked potatoes or very tasty fried potatoes.Everything came to the table hot with very friendly service. The children could order from their own menu, for example schnitzel or nuggets with fries, cucumber salad, scoop of ice cream. There were painting supplies to pass the time. There is also a play area in the restaurant.I also recommend the plate of panfish, with fried salmon and another type of fish in a kind of mustard sauce. I could try it and I really liked it. In any case, everyone who ordered it was full of praise for this plate.Only the salad was fresh, crunchy and beautifully presented, but I personally didn't like it that much. Because it was way too sweet for me with the honey mustard dressing. I would have thought of an alternative dressing, e.g. B. Amarican dressing desired. We decided not to eat and drink on the less busy road because it was too windy. But since we wanted to be outside in the fresh air, we didn't sit inside but instead sat outside at the back of the inn. There are enough seats under umbrellas and in the lee of the building. Many thanks to the catering industry for the friendly hospitality and many thanks to the fantastic cuisine, we would love to come back, we were all thrilled.

Very nice hotel, very clean, chic room, double bed unfortunately only 1.40 m wide! Shower modern and comfortable, even with a magnifying mirror! We didn't miss anything! We only spent 1 night there on the trip to Hamburg, but we would book it again at any time! Breakfast buffet was also perfectly fine!

The hotel is a perfect accommodation if you want to spend a few relaxing days in the Lüneburg Heath. Hamburg can be reached quickly, the wildlife park or many small shops on foot. The staff is friendly and fond of children, the breakfast is great, the food in the restaurant is fresh and prepared in sufficient quantities. There are also activities for children in the inn.By the way: if there are any hassles, be sure to grab them. From our point of view, the knuckles we've tried so far are the best so far: crispy and easy-to-bite crust, juicy meat and easy to remove from the bone. Fantastic! 🤩
