As a resident of Bern, I can only say: This hotel is an absolute asset for the city. We stayed here for a weekend as part of our wedding. Great rooms, clean and modern. The staff is super nice and the breakfast is also rich.

A very nice hotel, modern without any frills. The rooms are large and chic, the overall atmosphere is very appealing.The staff is consistently very professional and very friendly.All entrances are disabled accessible.Whenever we are in Bernau again, this hotel is our first choice

The booking went very well over the phone. The reception was very nice and friendly. The rooms were very clean and bright. Breakfast was great, everything was available. Room sufficient and large enough, clean. Shower worked great, I didn't have the problems with water pressure or drainage that you read about here. Due to the location there is a lot of traffic noise. The staff is very friendly, but the unasked-for first-name culture is strange to me and I find it inappropriate. Breakfast with ups and downs, too little fruit, bread and rolls unfortunately only baked goods. There are not enough parking spaces, late arrivals are very creative when it comes to parking for other guests.

Update 10/9/24:When checking out I was informed that the problem was known and that other rooms were affected. That's what the pullers are for.Then I ask myself why the guest is not offered compensation for the inferior room or at least communicated openly from the outset.If you check in late and have to clean the bathroom late in the evening/at night after a long day, that's no joy.-----------------Nice welcome, clean rooms, good location...But none of this helps if my room is a technical disaster, especially in terms of the bathroom.The handles on the room doors are unusually low, as if the doors were installed the wrong way round. You have to stretch/bend slightly to get to it.When it rains, it drips loudly onto a ledge outside the window. Can be heard clearly despite the window being closed.However, the bathroom weighs much worse:On the one hand, the shower lacks a partition wall from the toilet. It was probably installed at one time, but is no longer there. On the other hand, the shower drain is so catastrophically designed that the water is completely distributed throughout the bathroom, even with the shower jet set to the lowest setting and directed against the wall where the faucet is. There is simply no slope towards the spout.This is probably what the squeegee is for (see photo), so that you then have to clean/squeegee the bathroom yourself after the shower.PS: You shouldn't be blinded by the many 5-star reviews here. The hotel advertises a free drink with a positive review.

Guest here again for the umpteenth time. Always good. Even the room facing the street, on the 3rd floor, is surprisingly quiet, even with the window open.Especially large rooms.The only thing that might be missing is a small refrigerator in the room.And above all, very nice, attentive employees who are always available.

An absolute dream of a hotel. Super nice, friendly staff no matter what time you arrive, big compliments to the reception staff who greeted me so kindly. Super delicious food, all homemade, lots of salad and great vegetarian cold cuts. The rooms have completely modern facilities with their own tablet. This is the second time I've been here and I'm coming back here again. Totally impressive and a great win for Bernau.

Great hotel. Rooms modern, large and clean. There are parking spaces directly at the hotel or approximately 200 meters away (a transponder from the hotel reception is required). The breakfast is not extensive, but there is everything you need.
