Unfortunately our room wasn't exactly clean. There were several hairs on the bed, even a long hair. Also on the pillow. The tiles and grout in the bathroom were broken. Since we wanted to stay one night longer in Berlin, we looked for another hotel. But the location was great.

Room is basic but clean. If you're not looking for a place to stay overnight you can do that. The big disadvantage is that there are zero staff. If you want to ask for a second key or do a late check-out, there is no one available. Honestly: It's better to spend €10 more and look for something decent.

Central location but disproportionate price for the service offered. There is no lift and the stairs are so narrow that it is difficult to climb with two suitcases. Small rooms and papier-mâché walls, you can hear everything. Furnishings of the rooms look like a hostel or worse.

I booked two nights here last weekend, despite already having booked accommodation elsewhere (which had been shockingly awful). When I arrived I was pleased by how quick and easy the self check-in process was, and reassured by the quiet and tidy reception lobby. My room was on the ground floor and whilst small, it was clean with a comfy bed and good shower, and perhaps more importantly the windows were noise proof, meaning I was able to sleep well despite dodgy German techno club music playing outside until around 4am.On the negative side the room felt quite stuffy so I'd say definitely not a place to hang around at - just a functional place to get some good sleep. In addition there's some risk of dodgy types being let in to the lobby due to the lack of any reception staff, but I'd say that's a minor risk. There's free WiFi, tea, purified water and coffee available 24/7, as well as a communal fridge in the lobby. All in all good value and within an easy walking distance (20mins or 10mins by tram) from Alexanderplatz station.

The hotel itself is really good and comfortable, but the mattress could be harder (in my opinion). Room and bathroom very clean. One disadvantage was that my room was the first on the ground floor (room 9). Since the hallways have wooden floors, you can hear everyone who walks past them. The hotel is also very noisy otherwise. You can hear the other guests walking around in their rooms, sometimes even trampling. But what was really very annoying was that some guests, when they came back to the hotel late at night, thought they had to have a loud conversation in the entrance hall! It really felt like you were sleeping next to a bar. It would therefore be very desirable if the hotel operator would put up a sign asking people to at least keep quiet after 00:00. Otherwise, anytime and again. Definitely come back.

Convenient location. Smallish but clean room so just what we needed for one night. It’s good that you can check in and check out yourself so at any time. And it was very straight forward to get the key to the room. There’s a bar either side of the hotel and a park nearby. It’s a short walk to Alexanderplatz. If you’re arriving in Berlin on the train, you can get a bus directly to the hotel so very easy to get to from the main station.

The hotel is very well located near Alexander Platz and with a tram stop in front that runs very frequently. The hotel is newly renovated with everything new. Good size rooms and water pressure. Comfortable beds. 100% recommended. Some very nice stuffed animals :)
