Easy nice hotel near ostkreuz, so easy from airport. Does have a view of the river from some rooms but it also have an apartment block between the view and river.Very helpful staff

The hotel is very clean and modern. The concrete ceiling without color was modern and something different. The room has its own pantry kitchen with a refrigerator and dishwasher. The Ostkreuz train station is about 500 meters away and you can get anywhere without any problems. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel is modernly furnished with exposed concrete on the ceiling. The rooms are clean. There is even a kitchenette with a microwave and dishwasher in the room. The staff is friendly; In particular questions (e.g. there were foaming and smelling cleaning agent residues in my kettle that I couldn't rinse out) I was a bit awkward (I was given washing up liquid and a sponge to clean the kettle). The fact that no German is spoken doesn't bother me. What I didn't like at all was the breakfast: only potted coffee and tea are included in the price of 17 euros, other coffee specialties are available, but only for a higher price. In front of it there is a crumpled paper sign "only cash". Next to the buffet there is another paper sign informing you that taking breakfast with you will be punished with 50 euros. I found that very inappropriate. In particular, the breakfast is anything but lavish: croissants, rolls, cheese, muesli, jam, honey, homemade dips and fruits. I could probably have had a cheaper and better breakfast in a cafe. What was particularly irritating was the ban on laptops in the breakfast room, which is the reason for me not booking the hotel anymore, as I usually travel to Berlin on business and want to be able to work while having breakfast. It's a real shame, because otherwise the hotel has potential.

I travel to Berlin once or twice every month. 99 percent of the time I sleep in one of three regular hotels. Since this hotel has an even better location for me, I wanted to see if it could replace my previous hotel.Short version: I won't come back. Staff very friendly, rooms clean, carelessly furnished, loud and the beds substandard. The breakfast has its advantages, but is overpriced and uncomfortable.Detailed:After noticing from reviews that some rooms face the "noisy street side", I wanted to ask that I get a quiet room. Information over the phone was only available in English (possibly problematic for some). There I was asked to write an email. In the following email I was asked to change the room category myself in the booking and to make the payment. I stopped here because I didn't want to research which room category was on the quiet side. Maybe it was because I booked through booking (but other hotels can do that).Arrival:very friendly (like the employees before on the phone and in the email, just not helpful to me). Self check-in is possible after 10 p.m.Room (premium suite urban):Really cold furnishings with a tendency to be careless. Bare concrete ceiling, hardware store-style lamps with cold light. Room facing the street. Thanks to excellent windows, this is hardly a problem unless you want to ventilate. Then it gets very loud. But if you want it to be very quiet at night, the street will still be disturbing. There is no air conditioning and no other adjustable ventilation. You have to decide: fresh, cool air but loud street noise or quiet combined with temperatures that are too warm.I was completely surprised that despite the new building, everything can be heard from the hallway. Even though the hallway door is 6 rooms away, you can hear it clearly, as can footsteps and voices in the hallway.Unfortunately the bed is underground. After I laid down, it felt so strange that I checked. It is a pure yellow foam mattress. I couldn't believe it. Unfortunately that was how the night was.If you like things small: the switches on the bed for the lamps and the socket are not at head height but at the bottom of the floor behind a heavy metal side table that you have to push to the side. Sorry to the room neighbors.Great: there is a small kitchenette with dishes and cooking appliances. There is also a refrigerator. This is of course great for all self-caterers.Also good: the wardrobe is spacious. The bathroom is also quite large. In front of the breakfast room you are warned not to take any food with you, otherwise you risk a fine of 50 euros. Can you communicate like that? I found it immediately unsympathetic. The breakfast buffet costs 17 euros and offers a basic supply of meat and cheese and vegetarian spreads, which are even homemade (very great!). Yoghurt and muesli are also available. However, the selection is generally quite small. What I've never experienced before: only black coffee is included. Higher café prices are charged for each “specialty”.There are no newspapers, and unfortunately it's not comfortable either. Rather useful. Laptops are not allowed (I don't think that's ideal in a hotel either).I recommend going to one of the cafes scattered around the hotel, there are really excellent options. In my opinion, the breakfast in the hotel is overpriced and doesn't invite you to linger.

We only stayed here one night and by chance, because the hotel we had booked sent us here because it was overbooked. It turned out to be better than expected: early check in as the room was ready, very kind staff available for all requests (possibility of leaving luggage after check out, we were able to leave some food from the doggie bag in the fridge and then eat in the beautiful and very comfortable hall). Beautiful and very comfortable hall, the room is spacious and equipped with every comfort. I would recommend staying here to anyone wanting to visit Berlin (it's also super connected by transport as an area). Thanks Habyt. 🤍

This hotel is very close to Ostkreuz, which makes connections anywhere in the city very convenient. The hotel itself is very modern. The rooms are spacious for European accommodations, and the kitchen, though small, is well stocked and adequate. There is no A/C, so warm nights can get a bit uncomfortable. Also shout out and want to commend B/Heart (unsure of spelling), the receptionist in the lobby, who was always very kind, very helpful, and very attentive.
