Great service, I had an issue with a loud guy outside that was screaming all night. The receptionist was very understanding and got me a new room. Parking is difficult though.

Very, very helpful staff who let us dry our soaking wet tent in the basement, room super clean, everything modern and of high quality, breakfast with everything you need, attentive staff at breakfast, delicious, quiet room facing the courtyard, quiet despite the central location

Maybe not a real boutique hotel, but originally decorated. Room relatively small, but OK. Walking distance to the train station and the shopping area. The doors are not soundproof.

Honestly, a small, cozy hotel. If you don't want huge rooms but want cleanliness and comfort, this is the place for you. The breakfast is rich and sufficient for the price. I can only recommend it and will try to book here every time.

Very central location, 5 minutes walk to Kennedeyplatz. Modernly furnished rooms with a very nice, but also very small, bathroom. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning, so it was very hot in the ground floor room as we didn't want to leave the window open overnight.Very tasty coffee and good scrambled eggs for breakfast, the rest was completely sufficient and reasonable for the price.

We had a double room, which was certainly sufficient for single use, but much too small for two people. The small double bed was right against the wall, no bedside table and climbing was required. The bathroom was ok, the shower had enough pressure, but was rather narrow. The parking spaces at the house were all full, so you should book them in advance. Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't a highlight either, just the most necessary and dry baked rolls. Thanks to the lack of air conditioning and the corresponding noise with the window open, we didn't sleep for two nights.

Disaster hotel! We arrived in the room at 2 p.m., but contrary to what the receptionist (?) claimed, the room was not ready. The room was still the same as the previous one... It can happen, we let us know and left the room because we were going to the concert half an hour later anyway. The receptionist said the room would be ready when we returned in the evening. Of course, we found the room untouched when we returned hours later... We were then allowed to move to another room in the adjacent building at 12:30 a.m. There is still one star for the acceptable breakfast.

Unfortunately it wasn't that clean, there were big "dust mice" everywhere.The room and bathroom were newly renovated.Now the big “but”, the bathroom had a frosted glass door, which didn’t help at all because you could still see everything.From the bed I could see my partner sitting on the toilet. You could also hear everything because the door could only be pushed forward.When checking out, we were asked if everything was ok. However, no one was interested.

A lot of dirt in front of the entrance area.Room was ok so far.But …Bathroom very very small. For more powerfully built... No... you get stuck between the heater and the sink :DToilet seat completely loose, shower door broken, couldn't be pushed shut. Also not available in the room is what is offered.Luckily only 1 night was booked

IT WAS GREAT!!!This was the second visit and it was a great experience again!It starts with a friendly smile when you enter the hotel and ends when you oversleep and arrive 10 minutes after breakfast time and get a little something to eat and drink. Thank you very much for that again.You really feel very comfortable there, it is very clean, tidy and the price is right!I'll definitely come back when I'm in Essen again :)

I just wanted to request information by phone and was treated so unfriendly that I wonder how a hotel can even survive with such unfriendly staff. The gentleman on the phone was very rude, mocking and definitely out of place. Luckily, I now know that I definitely won't be booking a room there.

The rooms are fine and has high ceilings. Most workers are nice. But when i picked up the collegue and paid for her room, one male collegue was being too friendly with other guests and started drinking alcohol and taking drinks from the fridge, he and the guests were loud (our employees room was next to the reception and she was woken up early by the noise). Then on 13.06. when i called the hotel to ask for the invoice, another male employee was unfriendly, unprofessional, not cooperative, and sounded annoyed, I gave all the right details of the booking but he was being a diva. There were nice employees, but the overall experience of this including the last phone call is not something i want our employees to experience again.

The rooms are nice and comfortable) clean!But as for me, the room lacked a coffee maker or at least a kettle.Breakfast was varied enough. But the employees had a different understanding of how we should pay for it.
