Stayed in this hotel last weekend and really enjoyed it. Booked via our own website (and not via booking or similar), which was appreciated.No breakfast was booked, but on Sunday it was convenient to have a quick breakfast in the hotel, we were surprised that we could use breakfast free of charge.The car was parked in the Nieuw-West parking garage (in this parking garage you will receive an exit card from the hotel), when we stopped by the hotel for a sanitary stop before returning, we were also offered free coffee to go.All in all, above expectations!

Great location, great staff, you feel like family. In the evening, the atmosphere in the lobby, listening to music, drinking drinks and being helpful is priceless. The boss who really likes to help. I just say you have to experience it yourself.

My husband and I just spent four nights at the Citiez Hotel and we were happy with everything. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, funny and entertaining both in the morning and evening shifts. The infrastructure not far from the hotel is great. There is a wide range of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The tram stop is in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. From there you can be in the center of Amsterdam in about 30 minutes.We can definitely recommend the hotel!Kind regards, May family.My husband and I just spent four wonderful nights at the Citiez Hotel and we loved every minute of it! The room was on the small side, but it was so clean and cozy! The staff were absolutely wonderful, so friendly, funny and entertaining. The area around the hotel is really lovely too, with lots of great restaurants, shops and supermarkets. I stay at the Citiez Hotel every year for an annual conference and have been coming here since 2018. There’s nothing to complain about! While the rooms are small, they are extremely functional and impeccably clean. I highly recommend it—it offers great value for money.

I recently stayed at Citiez and, unfortunately, my experience was far from ideal.Service: To start, we had requested the staff to store our leftovers. Which they did, however when we asked for it the next day, it turned out someone ate our food, which was quite frustrating and left us without dinner.The staff kept offering free items to compensate for this issue, which felt more like a band-aid solution than genuine hospitality.Room:Knowing that this city is famous for small/tight rooms, we booked for a room with 2 queen beds. When we reached, they gave us the smallest room possible (129 sq. Ft).There seemed to be some confusion between the 3rd party booking system & the hotel. We ended up paying for larger room and got the smaller (probably smallest) one.Meanwhile we noticed staff was happily giving away free upgrades to other guests.The rooms are really really small. Small room may be a norm in the city, but this was completely unexpected. There was barely any space when you wanted to open the luggage. The image added was taken when we were checking out (hence the mess)Breakfast: The breakfast was also a letdown—there was no toaster available, and the spread was pretty average at best.Parking: parking is 5 min walk from the hotel & charges 10 euros per exit (not free)Overall, I expected more from my stay.
