This review concerns the restaurant business, unfortunately we did not read the reviews in advance. There were four of us and we ordered (Jäger) schnitzel and fries. The menus were disgustingly sticky, and some of the writing was barely readable. That should have been warning enough, but if you're hungry you can ignore it... Unfortunately, the Jäger sauce was sour, the Metro TK schnitzel from the deep fryer, and there were black dots on or in my beer glass that looked like coffee grounds. We then left the satchel and our bill was 73€!!! paid and left so as not to suffer any consequential damage. I wasn't in the mood for discussion with the Talahons. For me this is a typical tourist rip-off with cheap food and prices that are way too high.

Since only two restaurants were open today, we stopped here. Normal German cuisine was to be expected. Now there was no value for money with this meal. The only thing that tasted good was the beer. The food, venison ragou with red cabbage and kale with Krakauer. The Kraków were sausages with cheese. The food was like cafeteria food. Vegetables in a glass - this is how the kale and red cabbage tasted. Since the food came after about 10 minutes, it was definitely not freshly prepared. If you eat pizza there, you won't be so disappointed.

Way too much on the menu, so thatNot enough effort can be given to each individual court. This gives the impression that most of the food here is frozen. Unfortunately it tastes like that too.

The food was delicious, but the pork medallions were a bit too cooked for our taste.The women's and men's sanitary facilities are in need of renovation. The service seemed a bit bored, but was polite and nice.

Nice location, but the food was very bad. Pizza, Bolognese and also the visually appealing cream puff were extremely bad and dry. I had a "forest mushroom soup" which only consisted of cream and a can of mushrooms. So very bad 😐 not recommended

Never again, when we came, the menu was dirty, table was dirty. However, the service came and wiped the table as requested.Croquettes cold and soggy seemed warmed up. Pork fillet hard and warmed up.Sauce lukewarm, mushrooms seemed old, I gave the food back for fear of spoiling my stomach.Chairs not suitable for fat people.Snack bar or Metrofraß sold expensively.

Since we enjoyed it very much yesterday, we are here again today to eat. I can't understand the bad reviews. The pizza we had yesterday was delicious. That's why we're having pizza again today. 💞 We'll definitely come back on our next vacation.

A tip to the chef: Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza always works, it definitely tastes better and your profit should be better too. The worst pizza I've ever eaten and the price is outrageous too. If you live off tourists you don't need guests to come back. Just a shame

Attention, the recession is older, but was blocked due to the naming of the food after its Hungarian/Romanian product name stated on the menu..."I was able to stop here today because the snack bar opposite was closed. Unfortunately there isn't much going on in Altenau on Tuesdays...Given the 2.4 rating on Google with many reviewers, expectations weren't particularly high...Since I have been traveling across Germany for many years, I believe I have a certain level of competence in assessing food...Although many tables were occupied, the staff were very quick. This in advance. Prices normal, not withdrawn.Drink was good, Altenauer Hell is delicious.The food... I ordered a "Schnitzel Zi..... Art" with fries and salad.The "Zi.....sauce" on the schnitzel was not tasty, very pepper-heavy and definitely homemade.The fries were... Well. Tasteless, unsalted, no consistency.The schnitzel. What it didn't throw was bubbles. But it was a nice, even dark brown. How it is when TK sizzles in used fat...Taste wise... Yes... Taste... Something like old fat. And after the sauce. There was zero taste of its own.All in all not worth the money. Nicely draped, but nothing worth mentioning. Like the salad. So here, there the cabbage stuff with a bit of rocket.Oh right. The food came more than quickly, as if the chef knew what I was going to order 15 minutes in advance... Don't know if that's a good sign...Conclusion. If the store were in my hometown, it would have been closed for a long time. Here you can still live from the old, glorious skiing times, when the border still stood and the elite of the Federal Republic of Germany ski jumpers trained in Braunlage...If you want to eat well, go somewhere else."

We had dinner there last night. We had a pizza and a baked potato with tzatziki. The restaurant is called "Pizzeria". We've never had a bad pizza, every frozen pizza tastes better. Unfortunately, we didn't read the restaurant's reviews beforehand, so when we asked if we liked it, we answered no. Then we were treated rudely. And besides, they've never heard that the pizza doesn't taste good. So save your money and don't eat there. Delicious is completely different. The only point is that a man must have at least one point in vain.

We wanted to take a break there for refreshments during a bike tour. Therefore you can't say anything about the room. Unfortunately, no one from the staff in the outside area of the restaurant wanted to notice us. It was only moderately busy, so the service was quite strange. After 15 minutes we switched to the local bakery. They were much better attuned to customers :-)

We have NEVER eaten so badly. Even the children didn't finish 1 chicken nugget and they were really hungry. The only thing that worked was the currywurst. You can't go wrong with pasta unless everything is NOT seasoned. Fries unsalted. So really inedible at that price!

Had a sorbet in this restaurant during a bike ride. The vanilla ice cream with warm canned cherries was not special but 'okay'. The waiter was completely disinterested and grumpy.Not to be repeated.
