Our stay at the family-run Menkenhof was wonderful. Our double room was very clean and we had an unbeatable view of the mountains. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back! 😊

We decided on a spontaneous vacation in southern Germany and came across the Menkenhof online.We had a very large and incredibly clean and cozy apartment.This was equipped with everything you needed, including a terrace and 2 loungers, and there was the best view over the meadow and mountains for free.A dream for us North Germans.The Heigenhauser family gave us lots of tips and were otherwise very nice hostsIt is very positive that strict waste separation is ensured!In the basement there is a drying room, ironing board, washing machine and dryer (5 euros).It takes just a few minutes by car to reach the town where there are restaurants, cafes and shopping opportunities.The great weather, the landscape and the beautiful accommodation made the holiday perfect.Thank you dear Heigenhauser family

Quaint inn outside of town. WiFi doesn't work, but it doesn't let me use some apps with German network operators, but it's stable and powerful. The house itself is not in town but can be reached quickly by car. Ski room and large apartment. Sauna only for an additional charge with these energy costs but understandable

We booked the chalet on the upper floor of the separate house and felt very comfortable. At the same time rustic, cozy, modern and comfortable. Wonderfully quiet with a beautiful view. In the basement there is a ski room and a sauna (for an additional charge). A real place to feel good.Cross-country ski trail and Semmelhäusl right in front of the door. Unfortunately, the accommodation is not within walking distance of the town or ski bus, but there is no hustle and bustle either.Very nice, committed and uncomplicated hosts. Vacation at its best.

Nice holiday apartment with a good location and a beautiful view. The rooms are clean and nothing is missing - the owners are nice and happy to helpThe thing about the guest card, what advantages you have and what you can use and how, was not explained to us and the thing about the indoor swimming pool included is also no longer applicable and the value was compensated. This made the stay not so pleasant.I would have really liked a few tips about the area - and that voluntarily without asking...

Nice, very clean apartment. Everything you need. Breakfast was also really tasty with regional products. If you want to enjoy your breakfast in the holiday apartment, you will find the small bakery with fresh rolls directly opposite.

It's so perfect here. The rooms and apartment are so nice and clean. No dust or dead mosquitoes even in the furthest corners. Every wish can be fulfilled at breakfast. Perfect location for excursions and the mountains. Reit im Winkl is so sweet, we will definitely come back. Thanks to the Heigenhauser family!!!

We had an apartment in the chalet, which was very nice, the perfect combination of modern and traditional and equipped with everything. The host family is very nice and goes out of their way to ensure that their guests have a good time.

Great holiday apartments. Great location.Semmelhaus right in front of the door.In winter the cross-country ski trails are right in front of the house.Short route to the car park: exit Hindenburghütte.Highly recommended.
