After travelling 5 hours from Nottingham, we arrived at about 9:30pm at night. Check in said it was till 10:30/11pm at night. There was no one there in reception, and we couldn’t get in.After calling the phone number about 10 times someone finally answered to tell us the booking had been cancelled on our side… but the booking was still active in Agoda and the money had been paid.Very poor service, you’d at least call the customer to say it’s been cancelled/or to check. And the operator hung up on us when we were trying to sort it out after a while.I wouldn’t have felt safe leaving my partner here either. We thankfully booked in at the Tor park hotel which saved our butts!

Booked for a king sized room and there was only a double bed, had to wait at the door half an hour before someone came to let me in, feels like you are back in the 70s with decor felt very much like a hostel not a hotel, the treck to town was over 800 steep steps which was not stated in description anywhere, tea coffee sugar there was only enough for 1 cup each noone around to ask for more, when I did actually see someone they to say about the wrong room I was told I need to ring a number as they were only front of house and didn't deal with these things, definitely won't be returning 😳

After booking a hotel in Torquay which turned out to be more Bates Motel & some 🥺 We fortunately found this place on Trip. Which for our budget on a Saturday night at 10pm was a god send just clean, tidy a bit dated but for the money we paid. I’d go back
