I would not recommend anyone stay here. I will not be staying here again. The only good things I can say about this place is it’s in a decent location, reception is courteous and they got me checked in a few hours early. This place is older, which is fine, but it’s just not managed well. My room was smaller than my closet. This place has no AC or elevator. Even when my window was open, it was cooler outside than in my room. They do not serve a free continental breakfast even though they state it. Rooms weren’t cleaned during the day and my bed had two twin mattresses that shifted constantly while I was sleeping. It was honestly more comfortable sleeping on the floor. If you’re looking for a single room that’s cheap with a little to no amenities, this could work for you but I wouldn’t recommend it.

After reading past reviews from the last month or so I was really sceptical about staying here but had left it too late to cancel. The appearance of the lobby was good but did not follow through with the rest of the hotel. …

Booked a one night stay here and I was never expecting anything glam for the £132 I paid. However, it's tatty, in disrepair and from the front the brick work is badly bowed.  …

The Somerset hotel is in a great location! We just spent one night here before heading off to our next destination, but the location was perfect. Just off the main drag and near two underground stations, so it was fairly easy to get around. When we checked in at the hotel, George and Ian were very friendly and helpful.

The most basic of hotels. No tea/coffee facilities in the room (available in the foyer), no lifts so a challenge if on the 4th floor with suitcases, no table or chair in the room, window rotten but functional (not suitable for a family with …

Room can only be described as student digs. Room nothing like the photos|Alot of damp coming through ceiling, bathroom so small that legs touch both bath and wall when sitting on the toilet, shower just works but about 40 years old. …

Can do with a dark blind for the room as it was too bright in the morning. Overall was okay. Our room was cleaned and newly renovated. Good thing is you can leave your luggage at the reception for free, which come handy. Recommended!

Clean and confortable bed and room. Hot watter, clean bathroom. I sleept verry ok and got a good rest. Yes it has some problems with the windows, and it s a little bit noisy on the street side but it was verry good for my 3 days London trip. 3 minutes from London underground metro
