My partner and I just recently returned from a lovely and memorable stay at the Hotel Cumberland, Eastbourne. We both cannot thank all the staff enough for all their kindness, consideration, helpfulness and support. …

This was the worst holiday we have had. The staff were rude and not at all helpful, the bedrooms didn't get cleaned just made the bed. Only got clean towels the night before we left. The food was terrible, not disability friendly. …

4 nights stay with a coach tour, room was adequate, only one sachet of shower gel/shampoo and one soap (which was removed on the 3rd day:-), neither replenished during the stay.||Food was atrocious!!!! …

We didn't stay at the Cumberland, but we booked a couple of tables on their Bar Terrace from which to watch the Airshow. The whole experience was great - easy to book, excellent service during the day, tasty food and above all, the staff were really friendly and professional. Thank you to all involved at the Cumberland, we loved our day out and we'll be back next year!

Hotel very neglected and very bad smell. Breakfast very poor, small selection of products. In such a beautiful place I expected something better. The hotel is totally suitable for renovation or closure. The only positive is clean bedding and towels.
