Liked: Well laid out site. We stayed on hard standing pitch but the grass pitches looked well drained. Loved the toilet/shower pods. Very clean and well kept. Fabulous views from the site. …

Just a one night stay with my son and a small tent. Pitching site was perfectly level and the ground well drained. Added bonus of freshly baked pizza on site. Very friendly and welcoming bar with a good choice of drinks. All facilities clean and to a high standard. Will definitely come again

The campsite is set out well with plenty space for caravans, tents as well as offering cabins and pods. The cabins look well equipped( we peeked through the window) as do the pods. We were camping and we had plenty of space for our tent as well as car. The bar area is warm and welcoming and there are pizzas available on a Saturday. The washing facilities are good with plenty of sinks to wash pots. Also there is the area to empty chemical toilets. There are varying toilet and shower facilities which is good and there is a larger 1 (no1) which would be handy if you have little children with you. All in all this is a good site for walkers and campers alike. Be aware it is next to the A65 which is busy all day and most of the night so not the quietest campsite but ideal for the three peaks walking.

Stayed for one night car camping. Booking and check in was easy, Ross was really helpful when I was enquiring about staying. No problem with staying in my car which is a micro camper. |The site is level with beautiful surrounding views. …

The site was clean and well kept, the car area and pizza oven were a great addition. The camping field is large and lots of space between pitches. The bathroom area could do with an extra chair, bench etc for clothes, there were hooks but it needed somewhere to put bags and clothes off the floor. Be aware there is some road noise from the A59 which runs past the site. Overall a good location for walking the dales.

Fantastic campsite. Great location. Facilities - warm showers, toilet, sink and hand driers cubicles excellent. Huge wood fired pizzas very taisty. Bar on site Great atmosphere with happy campers. This campsite has everything. Great to see people on tents keeping warm round their fire pits. We will be returning. Fantastic area with pub 1/2 mile away too.

We stayed in a small pod and were delighted that it had a very efficient radiator and a warm duvet with crisp cotton bedding. …

Liked: Nice big pitch and plenty of open space on the site. The views are amazing. The toilets and showers are together as a small self contained suite. …
