It was so nice, I booked it twice! Prolonged my stay here, as many others did because we had so much fun in this hostel. The staff is amazing! Lots of activities are being planned for you every day with walking tours, bars and/or clubs. I've never felt unsafe in here and would definitely recommend this hostel to everyone!

Great place to stay if you’re visiting London for the first time.A diverse crowd, daily tours, and nightly activities. Staff are super friendly, and also provide a nightly family dinner which is always delicious (just try and give back by the end of your stay).I can see how the amenities could get crowded during peak times, but it’s London, so you’re just living the London life style at that point. Otherwise, very chill during off peak stays.

Had a great 1 week stay here, probably the most social hostel I’ve been to, with the staff leading a lot of daily activities. Kitchen had everything I needed and overall it was a pretty good time.

Onefam Waterloo Hostel is an excellent place to stay in London. The location is perfect, with easy access to public transport and many of the city's top attractions within walking distance. The staff is incredibly welcoming and goes out of their way to make sure guests feel at home. The hostel is clean, comfortable. The common areas are well-maintained, and the events organized (shout-out to squid) by the hostel create a great community vibe. Overall, it's a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a friendly and enjoyable stay in London.

Overall:The hostel has an actual rating of around 3.2. Reviews here are possibly fake, search for ‘London Waterloo Hostel’ instead.Bathrooms & Toilets:- Only one toilet per floor; as one of the 3rd floor toilet was locked possibly due to a broken light.- Only two bathrooms per floor; the 3rd floor bathrooms were out of order, causing queues on the 2nd floor.- 40-50 beds per floor, leading to crowded facilities, sometimes was disgusting, though they are cleaned regularly.- Sinks are always cloggedRoom Conditions:- No air conditioning, which may be an issue in summer; rooms can smell bad.- Bunk beds have no sitting space but include a light and charging area.Customer Service:- Service by Alessandro is lacking; other staff members are great.- They provide regular free dinner and tours. It is awesome if you care about meeting new friends far more than living conditions.Location:7-minute walk to the bus stop.Building Condition:Strong smell of mold throughout.

This is definitely my favourite hostel in London. I like almost everything about it. The staff, for instance, are very friendly and helpful. They'd do everything possible to make you feel like home. And this is what would make your stay 'warm and pleasant'.

I had an incredible experience at OneFam in Waterloo! More than just a hostel, it truly feels like a community where the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have a great time and feel welcome. From the moment I arrived, Tory made a fantastic first impression as she checked me in. She was friendly, fun, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Her helpfulness significantly enhanced my stay, and I quickly felt like we were friends. On my first day adventure, Adam led the way, providing valuable insights about London from an American's perspective. He was relatable and made our exploration enjoyable as I got to know him. Then there’s Monica, who hosted my first group tour. We had an absolute blast! She was easy to talk to, informative, and had a great sense of humor. Like with Tory and Adam, I found a friend in her as well.I also connected with Max, who was not only supportive but also had an infectious sense of humor. I remember playing beer pong with him, where he brought some of the funniest responses and made me feel included in the fun.Gabby was another standout. She helped me with my locker frequently, and not once did she make me feel like a burden. Her willingness to assist reflects her genuinely kind nature.Last but not least, I had a great time getting to know James, who was equally awesome, along with Dan, who was very helpful too.Thank you to everyone else I might be forgetting—you all made my stay memorable!I loved my time at OneFam Waterloo and appreciate all the amazing people who work there to create such a welcoming environment!

A really nice social hostel! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the social areas/lounge are great for meeting new people. There's a decent kitchen (open until midnight) and there are group activities every day - a group trip to a landmark in the morning, free group dinner, and a group trip to a bar or club in the evening. The rooms are not great - triple bunk beds with little headroom (less than a meter between beds) and ladders with narrow rungs (hurt your feet to climb). Private rooms for 3 are tiny (~2x3 meters) with a triple bunk and little room for bags. The building is old/rundown but kept very clean.I wasn't too bothered by the rooms though, just because the social area was great so you can go sit on a couch instead of the room.I believe it changed ownership last year, and while the old owners had bad reviews on other sites, I think since becoming a Onefam location those problems have been largely fixed.
