First of all, our room wasn't in the location they said on Booking. We were a couple streets away from the actual hotel, in an alley behind a restaurant. We were meant to do the check in at 2 pm., but our room wasn't clean nor done by that hour. One important thing about the stay is that there is no cleaning service. We stayed for 5 days and we didn't have our room cleaned or our bed done. If you want to exchange sheets or towels, you have to do it yourself (they have a drawer with more sheets, towels and toilet paper outside the rooms). They didn't give us any shampoo or shower gel when other rooms had dispensers (we had the opportunity to see another one when doing the late check in), we showered with hand soap.Plus, the temperature of the shower didn't regulate well. You could only shower with a very hot or cold water. We asked if it was possible to change rooms or get the shower fixed, but they said there wasn't any other rooms available and that a maintenance worker would solve the problem. But we didn't see any changes the day after that.I think the bed was okay, the room was spacious and there was a little fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine and an iron. The microwave, however, was so dirty we didn't use it.

The bedroom is as described in booking.com with a nice bathroom but the hairdryer did not work. The room offered was non-refundable and there was no mention during the booking process that the room is not in the hotel itself. After making the reservation, the hotel emailed to say that the room is in the building adjacent to the hotel. The night before our arrival, the hotel staff texted the address of the accommodation which is not adjacent but a third of a mile away. They offered the option of staying in the hotel itself for an additional fee. They also said that we have to call them 20 minutes before arrival so that they can meet at the accommodation.Next day, we called 20 minutes before arrival. The hotel staff said that we must call again when we arrive at the address to prove that we are actually there. We then had to wait on the street for 10 minutes until hotel staff arrived to let us in.Overall, a poor experience.

Hotel quite nice and beautiful. Just the door is bit tricky to open. We struggled 😄. The manager is polite and good at his job near to underground stations and not much expensive in comparison to other hotels. Recommendable

I did indeed enjoy an amazing night stay at Vilenza Hotel! The room was cozy, clean, & well-equipped with all the essential amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly & attentive, making check-in and check-out quite a breeze. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from Whitechapel station, with easy access to the city. It’s a great spot for a short and affordable stay, may it be for business or leisure. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone visiting London!~Thamer🍃

Catfish hotel alert! Do not believe the pictures! Family room 204 had two futon beds which were so lumpy I had to put duvets on top so my kids could sleep. Wallpaper was hanging off and put up by Stevie Wonder in places. …

If I could put no stars I would! This is what I sent to reception yesterday and no response:Hi we have spoken to the night manager and have advised him that we are checking out now.We are appalled by the standard or lack of in regards to our accomodation.Firstly we requested a room on the main floor because one of the guests has a disability. This was not organised. Instead we had to lug suitcases up the staircase. Then the following which was also disgusting were:Leaking water, holes in the floor covered by carpet, beds that were smaller than advertised: the main bed was meant to be a King bed, it was a double. There were 3 “single beds” on the floor - which we were meant to have twin sofa beds. To put it nicely we were better off sleeping on the floor. Steel rods were jamming into our backs. There must have been bed bugs or some other bug infested in the beds which were making us scratch all night also. The holes that were evident in amongst there being no space between the “king bed” and “sofa beds” caused my mother to twist her ankle which is now swollen and achy.We sent this request however if I’m being realistic I doubt I will get a response:We would kindly request a refund of our stay. As we are now having to outlay unexpected amounts of money to find a new stay during our time in London.

Avoid this hotel at all cost. The hotel is badly maintained and the staff are not trustworthy. The room was dusty which triggered a cough in my mum. The room also contained rat poison which is disgusting especially since there are known reports of dead rats in the property. The wifi did not work. There is only one tiny, weak fan for the room which is pathetically insufficient for ventilation. I was unable to catch any quality sleep at all. We checked out after only one night. The staff agreed to refund the remaining nights, but then refused afterwards after we booked a new hotel. If you're looking for a cheap hotel in the area, go to ibis Whitechapel instead. It's cheaper and nearer to the train station.

The room was ok. The receptionists were very friendly. The Metro and the bus stop are almost 10 minutes walking. There I took the bus National Express to go to Stansted Airport (very easy!)

Due to my own oversight, I left it until the last minute to book a hotel for an event in E2. After trawling pages of pricey hotels and depressing hostels, I found Vilenza and I am so delighted that I did!The location is perhaps not the most scenic but is very convenient but the building feels like an absolute hidden gem. It is a converted chapel that has lovingly been decorated and furnished in fresh and luxurious colours. We were greeted by the wonderful Adam who was a friendly and professional ray of sunshine. He boosted the already-very-good first impression we had of the hotel and is an absolute credit to the place. The rooms are clean, as beautiful as they look on the website, and have lots of little touches such as extra toiletries and teas/coffees/biscuits. No false advertising here!We had a pleasant, happy, and restful night’s stay and would not hesitate to go back. My only concern in writing this review is that more people will go and our little secret gem will become too busy to book!
