Never been upstairs in the rooms, only in bar area.Bar area stinks of weed, absolutely terrible. Been here 3 times over the past year, nothing changes, smell of drugs.Insanity.Big bar area, very little customers. If to have customers, they have no control and let them do as they please, taking drugs. As a drinker, I'm avoiding, paying for hotel, run to the hills.I'd rather sleep rough in the park next doorPolice should close it down.

I stayed here with a friend for one night in July for a concert so we weren’t expecting anything fancy, just somewhere to lay our heads that was close to the venue. ||Unfortunately this hotel fell far below acceptable standards. …

Lovely old school boozer. Great service and has a home feel. Happy hour during the week from open until 5pm. Slept on the bed once and it's very bouncy and soft ;). Nice friendly customers with a jukebox to play music on. Pool competition every friday too. Kartik is one of the best barman in the country and can pour the kronenburg.

Awful. As a single woman staying alone I did not feel safe. The pub downstairs is also disgusting. Whilst at the bar making a query about my room I watched the barmaid pull a hair out of a drink before giving it to a customer and another customer coming back to the complain about how bad his drink tastes. The majority of pub customers are drunk, vulnerable looking men who leer at you. One of the drink customers attempted to come up to my room with me until the barmaid stopped him. Rooms are tiny, old, and noise at night is bad with the back door constantly opening and closing, slamming as drunk people come in and out

My recommendation is never stay at this hotel, dirty, manky, grubby, rooms falling apart and unforgivable pubes in the bed Shocking! Noisey, bed was hideous curtain not adequate and window broken. No-one to complain to as no one in sight, rubbish place to stay. Granted, you pay for what you get however I would expect a cleaner room for the amount we paid.

I booked the place for two nights, the day before I went I informed Hotel through a message via Booking that I would arrive late due to the airport being 1:30 hours away from the place, and they didn't answer me, I called numerous times while I was on the train and nobody answered. I arrived with my friend at midnight and there was no one there. We were alone in the rain in the middle of an unknown city, luckily we found a McDonalds open 24 hours a day and we stayed there trying to call the hotel and they never answered again. until luckily at 1am we found a hotel that agreed to rent a room so we wouldn't be left on the street. The next day we went to the hotel again, which was still closed, called and again no one answered. conclusion they took money from my card via Booking without me staying in a hotel that was closed. They are thieves

My favourite pub. It's the last boozer of its kind I know, with no craft this or locally sourced that. They don't even serve hot food, but do offer scampi flavour fries and Walkers crisps. For entertainment, they do have two pool tables and a dart board as well as screens for sport.
