Right in the heart of Central London. Though in a busy street the rooms inside are clean and quiet. It's not a 5-Star hotel but it delivers as it promises. All necessary facilities, responsive staff, well-maintained, decent wifi. If you stay longer than a week laundry and weekly cleaning are included. And yes a decent kitchen with all necessary equipment for cooking. Overall a great experience and much recommended.PS: My room was having the main road view facing the opposite 5-Star.

The note in the room asked for feedback on the new room design. I always think the folks that design new rooms should live in them for a week. …

Location location location, easy access to the tube, walking distance to many shows and close to the British Museum. Despite the foyer having renovations access was fine and once completed it will look great. Our room was a newly renovated room at the back which was very quiet. A few teething issues being brand new but nothing major. Bed was comfy, kitchen was great to be able to make our own breakfast- supermarket close by. Recommend M&S for quality food but Sainsbury closer and was ok for basics. Washing machine handy. Shower has 2 outlets which was great with good pressure. Check in was easy and coffee machine in foyer a bonus to make whenever needed.

Stayed with my family over the May bank holiday. The staff was nice to upgrade us to the newly renovated room and the room was clean and new. However the hotel management failed to inspect the rooms upon the completion of the renovation works. They did not notice that the washing machine was not connected to the mains and that the hob was not connected to the electrical mains. Thankfully the fridge worked. The concept of a hybrid apartment hotel is good but its execution needs improvement. The staff was not clear as to when the room would be cleaned. And they only have a limited staff on duty in the evenings when guests would be demanding for things from towels to toilet paper. The poor evening crew is constantly harrassed. The situation can be improved if the hotel can train its staff to tell guests important information like cleaning schedules at check-in. If they can tell guests when checkout times are, they can be trained to convey other information. The hotel should also look into setting up a self service corner where guests can get fresh towels and other amenities like toilet paper. If mom and pop bed and breakfasts can do such things, an international hotel chain ought to be able too.

We spent two nights in this apartotel and were delighted. It was spotless, modern with an extremely well equipped small kitchen that was so clean. I would definitely go back. They were doing renovations at reception but were so helpful. I am sure they will be lovely.

Zero star for service! Extremely disappointing hospitality at the reception. We checked in on 22 Sep and was greeted by a grumpy, unfriendly and not helpful receptionist. We also asked if we could switch to a room with bathtub and was outrightly rejected by her and she did not even make any effort to check the system for alternatives arrangements.Love the newly renovated room but the bathroom smelled of smoke which is awful for my sensitive nose. Water flow at kitchen area is very slow flowing. The staff said it was because of the new sustainability requirements. The location is great and walking distance to underground.I would have rated it 5 star. But unfortunately, the place lacks the people element, that we would normally expect from a decent serviced apartment.Update: Many thanks for Devine for hearing our concern and got us a non-smoking room. 2 service stars subsequently to this post for her service.

Location location. Not the best first impression - a heavy (likely unhealthy) smell of paint and paint thinner greeted us after a 10 hour flight. The hotel was being fully renovated, meaning there were no public areas to sit or relax outside of your room. This is fine, but wasn’t communicated on the website during booking - and no special accommodations (like a nearby breakfast voucher or small gesture) were made. The room was fine and clean, but the AC/ventilation was a bit stuffy, and the shower renovation (we were in a new room) was cheap, with thin glass shower doors that leaked all over the (slippery) floor. During the night, we could hear fire doors and stairwell doors slamming as we tried to sleep. All that said, it’s ultra close to the Holborn tube station and walkable to many spots in Central London. But so are many places, so I’d probably pick another spot next time.

It was our 25th wedding anniversary and I visited for the first time from Canada. We were staying a week, and I wanted a hotel room that wasn't tiny with a kitchenette. It was clean, functional, spacious and convenient. …
