Stayed at the Chapter for 4 nights. Location is great, very short walk to two tube stations with different lines and easy access to Kensington Park and Hyde Park.However, the room disappoints a bit. Our room was on the 5th floor with no lift. The front desk person was kind enough to carry up a heavy suitcase, which was really appreciated! But it was a bit of a chore climbing the 5 flights every day.The room is decently sized and has a good fan (necessary, because there's no AC) The beds are so thin, both width and comfort of mattress. Laying on my back, my arms touched the edge of the bed even while pressed against my body. They're about the size of a spaghetti noodle.There were no towels when we arrived in our room, but we asked the front desk and they did provide some.The water pressure is absolutely abysmal. Expect to spend an eon in there if you want to wash your hair.The staff was very friendly and helpful. But the rooms could definitely do with an upgrade. Overall, it was manageable, but for the price, I expected more.I definitely recommend Ibo cafe nearby for a refreshing morning drink!

If you are reading this review, I would suggest you find another hotel. Simply not worth the price, unless you want to experience living like a pig. We spent 3 nights, and the room was never cleaned, despite asking for it at the reception in the morning, and the front office guy saying it will be done. Towels were changed only once, not to mention soaps/shower gel were not renewed. Now the room, is tiny for one person. If like us, you are a couple, you could experience life of a canned sardines real close. The building only have stairs and if you have room on the 3rd floor, good luck with the climb. Hospitality is a quality that is non existent there. Only plus point is the location which is very well comnected. At least, the poor hotel experience gets you motivated to get out of the room early in the morning and come back as late as possible, just to sleep. But it's not decent living conditions. What to say of the uncomfortable bed, other than my kinesitherapist will have a good month. I travel very regularly since 2011, for work and leisure, and been to more modest destination, but never have I seen such lack of respect to visitors. A hotel is the first impression you get from a country/town, and surely it did not reflect well on London.

Came to London for stray kids in Hyde park.Really good hotel nice clean large room.Clean bedding,towels even a kitchenette.Also tea and coffee.Very reasonably priced to.Would use again.

Lovely kind staff and great location .our room backed onto some construction work so to be mindful of this if that’s something that would bother you but that was only in working hours as expected so caused no problems for us. Would definitely reccomend and be returning .

I went with zero expectations and was dreading the stay. But it was actually not that bad. The room was spacious and big and right at the entrance. We didnt use the kitchenette. The bathroom was clean and good size. The only worst part was the sewerage stench in the bathroom. Uff couldnt handle that. We found a fix by running the water in the shower.The location was great, 2-3 mins walk to queensway and bayswater stations, tesco, sainsburrys and many cafes.They dont have proper storage rooms for the checked out guests so the bags were all placed in the lobby at the entrance. We had to leave ours for 2 hours and were afraid they wont be there when we get back. The entrance door was also left open at one point with many bags in easy access. So be aware of that.I had to change my booking and they were super difficult to get hold of. Called and emailed several times before the change was made. They refunded also for the change when we checked in.
