Such a lovely place to stay! I was there for eight nights and I'm already looking forward to next time. Raffles is a beautiful old house, close to Exeter Central train station and the city centre, and was ideal for my visit. …

Fantastic stay. This is our favourite place to stay in Exeter. The location is ideal, in between the University of Exeter and the centre of Exeter. …

We visit Exeter most years and have previously stayed in one of the larger chain hotels. But this time we stayed at Raffles. And we loved it. We had an upstairs dog friendly room. It was lovely. Lots of character, comfy bed, plenty of tea and coffee plus kettle. Nice shower room and lots of towels. The breakfasts were good and my husband said the full English was really excellent. Lots of coffee and lovely toast. We'll definitely book here again when we visit Exeter.

Daniel's service was charming and efficient, the bedroom small but perfectly formed and the shower room very well appointed. Breakfast was delicious, very well cooked and with good choices. Daniel even posted the charger I had left behind, for free. Off-road parking was a bonus.

A fantastic B&B hotel in a classic Victorian house. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, and we were very grateful to be able to keep our bikes in the secure back garden during our stay. …

Highly recommend The Raffles, Exeter, if you want a City centre stay only 8 minutes walk from John Lewis. Spent just one night here but will always be our 1st choice from now onwards. No complaints, only high praise; firstly for the delightful Rachel and Daniel who cannot do enough for their guests, then for our spotless room & ensuite (fabulous towels!), a great breakfast, secluded sunny garden, private car park... so many thoughtful extra touches, you just have to book a stay and see for yourself! Thank you Raffles

My sister and I stayed here for our Christmas shopping weekend. Rachel and the team were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is a beautiful Edwardian villa and is furnished with lovely antiques, and gorgeous wallpapers. There are a few steps in and around the property to be aware of, but assistance was offered should you need it with bags etc. Our room was spacious and well furnished in a traditional style. Good shower and comfortable beds. The breakfasts were delicious and the location was great; just a short walk to the city centre. We loved Raffles and would definitely stay here again.
