Had a wonderful night away here. Rooms are super clean and welcoming. Nice little touches like robes and slippers. Really helpful and friendly staff who were very accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, nice selection of spreads which are unique to the area and the full English was perfectly cooked. Just a stone's throw from the beach and with easy access to Torquay centre without being in the thick of it. A perfect place for couples

Stayed here at the end of August and loved it. Beautiful boutique hotel, exceptional welcome and adorable room. Just a short walk from Torquay harbour, I liked the quieter location close to the beautiful Meadfoot Bay. It was the special touches such as a complimentary cocktail on arrival, the water and brownies for the journey home and the wonderful staff that made this stay a joy from start to finish. Thank you to the whole team.

Wonderful boutique hotel, a perfect gem, a haven of calm efficiency together with a welcoming warmth that immediately makes you feel at home. Beautifully furnished throughout with superb taste whilst still encourages total relaxation. Our suite was superior to any major four star hotel in fact would easily be comparable to many a five star. Plentiful sitting areas both inside and out, a bathroom the size of a double garage and giant size bed you could get lost in. Breakfast was a daily feast and a sensible sized menu of excellent bar food available in the evening complimented the catering. Thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyable; altogether a truly scrumptious few days.

This is a great hotel. Our room, in the new section was bright, king bed, walk in shower, large screen TV. The hotel is clean, stately, friendly, and classy. On arrival we had hot tea and snacks provided by the new owners who were great to deal with and who went out of their way to make sure our trip was wonderful. Breakfast was included in the room price and featured home made jams, and jellies. All the ingredients for the breakfast are curated by the owners and wonderfully executed by the staff. I would certainly recommend them they have earned their stars!

The Meadfoot Bay was a great place to stay, along with friendly and helpful staff tending to your needs when you needed help. The hotel itself was situated in a really lovely area and the food that they offered was great too. The rooms themselves were very nice and very nicely laid out and very clean, everything was in the room that you could possibly want including a mini fridge. I will say unfortunately, that the TV (in the room we stayed in at least) was outdated and quite laggy. The room should have a smart tv as this includes apps which will keep you entertained if you just want a night in. The pillows were very well used and so were quite thin, prompting us to buy new pillows for the week, the mattress too was bumpy and well used and could use an update. Overall I think this is a great place to and would stay again but I do think it is important for these little features to be updated

Just had an excellent Sunday lunch here, good choices on the menu, I went for the roast pork which was beautifully tender and the whole meal was delicious. I had Italian Burrata to start which was very flavoursome. The member of staff that served us was engaging and professional and very pleasant. I was impressed by the level of safety measures in place and felt at ease. I will definitely go back and try an evening meal, overall I had a very enjoyable lunch

Great hotel. Very friendly owners. The breakfast is really delicious, using local produce and you can really tell the difference! The granola is amazing! The hotel is a few minutes walk from a beautiful beach, and a short taxi ride from the harbour And town centre. Reasonable room rate, would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay for two nights in one of their suites. The hotel is managing Covid restrictions brilliantly, we felt safe and relaxed our whole stay. The hotel was clean and tidy with appealing decor. The suite was immaculate with great facilities. Love the location, great exercise walking up and down the hills into Torquay. A memorable stay.

Amazing! Had such a lovely stay at The Meadfoot Bay Hotel. Attention to detail is quite spectacular here with every little extra thought of. We stayed the first two nights of our stay in a standard room and then moved to a Superior Deluxe Room for the final 5 nights. Thank you to Gary for fitting us in! We booked last minute and I would advise anyone booking to get in there early as this hotel is extremely popular. The standard room was lovely and exactly what we expected with it being comfortable with everything we needed. The Superior Deluxe room was gorgeous with its own little terrace area which had its own swing chair and mini table and chairs where we would enjoy a nice bottle of wine from the bar and sit on our terrace. The hotel does a great selection of wines by the way. We loved the aspect that the hotel was family run and the service received was perfect. We can't wait to come back next year. Thank you Sarah and James Jenkins
