Great location. Good sized rooms. Bar service sometimes slow and at one point they were more interested in their paper work than serving. Note there is no aircon in the rooms which means you can over heat. Breakfast both mornings the poached eggs were hard.Really good wedding breakfast served with a good team, with good wine.

A family run hotel that is cross between a boutique hotel and country manor. Lovely setting, esoteric pleasing interior areas. Bedrooms a bit small but nice. Spotlessly clean and tidy. The food is just excellent, prepared and cooked, daily. The menu should suit anybody. We had the pork and duck, both delicious. The homemade soup was to die for. The choice of wines is outstanding. The staff are simply the best. From checking in, to a drink on the terrace, to lunch or dinner you will not find better, friendly service that will please the most discerning customer. This place is a gem!

Upmarket, spacious suite with wonderful sea and garden views. Four poster bed and spacious bathroom with oak flooring and brass fittings everywhere. The evening dinner was terrific, tasty, plentiful and cost effective compared with some hotels we have stayed in - the bread was rather one dimensional and meagre, but asking for more was no problem. Local walks are very strenuous as the coastal path passes through some steep and undulating terrain - and not really adjacent to the coast!

Really wonderful stay and food. The staff (owner and family business) take real pride in what they do. We had the most wonderful stay and loved the location and the small touches that made our stay special. It seems strange 'booking' a time for dinner but it really works - it means you get the attention and the care of the wonderful staff. Well done - keep doing more of the same x

We spent our 57 anniversary at the Oriston Manor hotel and enjoyed every minute the Sunday roast was was literally the best I’ve ever eaten , all the staff were very attentive not only to us but to everyone . The four poster bed suite over looking the sea was everything you would expect from a top class hotel with a top tech bathroom and a pod coffee machine. What more could you want for a special day.

We have been coming here for approx. 10 years and without doubt it is one of our favourite places to stay. The views, the rooms and the food are all excellent and the service is without a doubt 5 star quality. Craig is great as front of the house and is both welcoming and full of ideas for places to visit. We will return!
