Lovely, clean and friendly hotel. Had a great stay here and one of the best nights sleep in a while. Breakfast was freshly cooked and high quality and the surrounding area is really nice to wander round and explore. Great location to explore the south coast as well. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel. Lovely imposing building with onsite parking. We had a family room & were pleased to note that a proper single bed (rather than camp bed/ sofa bed) had been set up for our teenage daughter. …

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Kerrington House. We decided to book a few nights away to clear the post-Christmas hangover and what a treat it was. Perfectly situated just a few minutes from Axminster Town Centre (and 10 minutes from the Jurassic Coast beaches at Lyme Regis and Charmouth), this fantastic Victorian House is set in its own private grounds and is packed full with all the Victorian charm you could hope for. This charm also extends to the wonderful host Fiona, who was attentive and considerate throughout our stay. Our room (Wisteria) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order each morning and offered a wide selection, of Fruit, Yoghurts, Cereal and a range of cooked options, including Full English, Smoked Salmon and Poached Haddock. After our days out, we enjoyed a relax in the lounge in front the roaring fire, with a large glass of Red Wine from the well stocked Honesty Bar!A special mention must go to Wendy who assisted with cooking the Breakfast and we cannot leave out Fiona’s very friendly canine companion, who insured we were always welcome when we returned each day. We would definitely stay again. Well done ladies, keep up the great work!

We spent a night here during our long weekend trip to the Jurassic Coast. Fiona was delightful, kind, and so friendly. She warmly greeted us at check in and gave us all of the needed details about our stay. We stayed in room 4 "Gardenia" and found it to be very spacious and extremely comfortable with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast the next morning was made-to-order and wonderful fuel for our long day of fossil hunting. When back in the area, we will absolutely stay here again. The value for the money is outstanding and it's impossible to find a hotel that will treat you better than Fiona will.
