Popped in for coffee. I didn't stay at the hotel, so can't comment on the rooms. Hotel looks fine very good location. Good parking. Good accessible entrance. Warm friendly atmosphere. All staff I encountered were professional and efficient.

A pleasing level of service that stands out these days. Food was very tasty with good portion sizes and we didn't wait long considering the hotel was quite busy. Some decor a bit tired, but our room was comfortable and clean though not perfect, and excellent value.

The hotel was well laid out and had all your basic needs . The bedrooms , though basic, were fine and plenty of seating in the restaurant area .The evening meal was ok but I was disappointed with the cold breakfast offer. If you like a fry up and toast ., you won't be disappointed , but the fresh fruits consisted of either an orange or an apple .Yoghurt, butter and muesli ran out half way through the week . An easy fix to check on stock levels would have been a bonus .Something else to consider is . ... not having an allocated seat in the restaurant , which has to be returned to each day . Thus means if you make friends during your stay , you can not sit with them at mealtimes .

To say we were disappointed when we arrived is an under statement. The exterior was very untidy and had not been cleaned recently. It bore very little resemblance to thepictures on the Internet. The interior was very tired and needs a lot of time and money spending on it. We had a double room, which although was reasonably clean, had just an open cupboard with very little hanging space, and no drawers at all. The evening meals were disgusting, of the 4 that we were there for only 2 were acceptable. Breakfast was fine although the sausage was very poor as were the mushrooms. The lift broke down on the 1st evening, when we enquired when it was likely to be repaired as I have difficulty with stairs we were told it should be the next day! When we left 4 days later it still had not been repaired. The swimming pool was awful, and the kitchen backed on to it, outside the kitchen were countless huge tins of oil that were leaking everywhere. The only saving grace for the place is the staff who were lovely. I will definitely not be returning.

Booked via booking.com booked room that stated bath and walk in shower. Room only had a shower got moved to another room that had a shower over the bath. Hot water was an issue, heating was an issue. Couldn't use the TV without signing up for services. Hot tub facilities was not good, couple in their then another straight away wasn't cleaned in-between yet they charge extra for this. Breakfast was atrocious. Wouldn't go back would rather go to the trecarn
