Good, but it could be better.Stayed the night here. The food was really good but no idea if they have a dessert menu as we weren't offered any and then we were rushed off the table. The room was good, needed some repairs but is an old building, The mattress was very uncomfortable though. The breakfast was very good, we were then asked how long we were going to be before we checked out, which seemed a bit odd as it was 9am and checkout was before 11am.Food was good but definitely room for improvement in other areas.

An absolutely fantastic service. The hospitality was amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was calm and cosy. They're even super respectful of dogs and dog owners. We enjoyed it so much, we're going back for dinner again tomorrow! We can't recommend them highly enough.

My partner already left a review yesterday, but we came back today for another dinner and I need to double up and leave another 5*! The staff we met yesterday were again exceptional, the new staff members we met today were just as fantastic. Cosy place, very tasty food, brilliant atmosphere - highly recommended! If only we didn't live 3h away, we'd be regulars!

Wonderful old pub, doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it’s charming, serves excellent food and has extremely welcoming staff and locals too boot.Parking is a bit tight here. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub food (menu never gets boring) and ever changing drinks choice - beer, ciders and spirits - where possible supporting local brewery’s. Landlord very accommodating and often goes above and beyond. …

Booked a 2 night stay to go walking on the moors.||The positives of this place are the friendliness of the young staff and the planting around the pub. Food is good and location is fab.||Onto the negatives…. …

We booked a 3 night stay here and checked out after 1 night. The rain was literally pouring in one corner o the room and it smelled rancid... which we found was due to a disgusting old towel being used to catch the water! …
