Great stay. Fishing break. Ideally located for the river (Trout day ticket £3.50 from Barbrook Filling Station 10 min drive away). Handy parking next to the pub. Room 4 was very clean and comfortable. …

Great location and very quiet. Lovely food and beautiful river right outside. The room was a good size with bathroom and kettle etc. standard pub hours for check in so expect the pub to be closed between 3pm-6pm. The valley the Inn is located in is full of trees with a 3.5 mile river walk into Lynmouth.

Amazing location. Tucked away by the river which could be in the middle of no where but is within easy reach of all the local attractions. The food and beer was great and the service excellent. A great little escape.

Popped in as out on a walk, good selection of ales / cider. Good lunches. Pub is dog friendly with outside benches if the weather is fine. Menu is varied and should meet most expectations!

My wife and I had lunch here a couple of days ago. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stop here again when we are back in the area. The pub itself was perfect. It looked and felt like a pub should.

What a gem of a find. A wonderful location with beautiful Lynton and Lynmouth on the doorstep and not far from Castle Combe and Ilfracombe. The full English breakfast was spot on, there's a great choice of evening meals and the owners could not have been more helpful or friendly. We loved our stay. Thank you!

Brilliant place for some well earned food and drink before hiking back to waters meet. Lovely chips, cosy log fire and welcoming landlord. Can’t speak for the accommodation but have been in twice for food during our walks. Happy to accept a saturated Labrador pup inside too!
