The Queens Court Hotel is in a quiet square, within walking distance of Exeter St. Davies station and the city centre. ||The old building is very well maintained. ||Our room was spacious, with a large window overlooking the square. …

We stay here when dropping off or picking up our son from university. It is conveniently located towards the city centre without actually having to be right in the city itself. The city centre is within walking distance so no problems getting to somewhere to eat and we can also walk to the church my son attends on Sunday morning.Parking can be interesting but there is a pay parking opposite the hotel that isn't too expensive. The hotel sells street parking permits from midday to midday which may fit in with your stay but there is no guarantee of a space. The hotel itself is quiet and comfortable but a little tired. Nothing really to complain about. The double beds would be nicer to be king size or bigger. The bar is small but priced very well, not your normal hotel mark up.Breakfast is excellent with a good set of hot options. On a recent stay they let our son join us for breakfast as if a guest. And this brings me to a highlight of our stay which is the staff. OK, this was a repeat stay for us but we have never had an issue with any of the staff. Always polite and friendly. We will be returning a couple more times at least, our son is now approaching his last year as an undergraduate, we will have to see what happens after graduating.

Stayed here many years ago, and thought it would be a good option based on the previous visit. Hotel is very convenient for the city centre, but in a quietish spot. …

Two nights in this hotel. A standard twin room, according to the photo on the hotel's own website, is very spacious and looks pleasant. …

We arrived at the hotel to find police outside and in the reception area and some people sat on the floor outside. Not a great first impression. The receptionist was lovely and checked us in. The room was very tired but clean. …

The Queen’s court hotel is a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our stay from check in until check out. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Adam who was a great host and offered to take our bags to the room which was so nice of him. The room was beautiful, the en-suite with a beautiful vanity mirror and extending mirror to get ready and a powerful shower. We received a lovely welcome note along with a complimentary gift in the room on arrival which was so thoughtful. We also were given robes and slippers in the room on arrival which was nice touch, especially to use for the spa. The thermal spa was absolutely lush and bottled water available anytime. The beds were comfy and the room had great amenities and was very clean. Great selection in the mini bar, while we did not have any of the mini bar snacks they looked delicious. The hotel lobby was tastefully decorated and lovely for entrance as well as the courtyard and there was a lovely smell throughout the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and we felt like Queens throughout our stay and looked after, the staff were chatty and took their time to check in on how we were doing and made up feel very welcome. Particularly at the end of our stay when they asked us how we found our stay and genuinely wanted us to have a great time. There was a gentle music playing in the courtyard outside which created a desirable ambiance. The breakfast selection of Continental and cooked options was absolutely exquisite, such a great variety and was so fresh and delicious, the cooked options were so tasty too. Especially the selection of bread, fruit and sweet treats with amazing jam. Anna-Maria at breakfast was so kind and took the time to acknowledge us and was so friendly and had a lovely way about her.We had drinks from the bar in the evenings and they have amazing cocktails here. All of the little touches added up and made a big impact. Overall we felt very looked after and it was such a beautiful stay thank you to all the staff at the Queen’s court for making our stay so special, would highly recommend this hotel.
