This hotel is perfectly situated on a main street in Inverness. We had a privilege room which was very comfortable and spacious, with a great river view. The room was clean. The staff were very friendly and attentive. …

An ideal place for the city centre and perfect location with close proximity to the train station.Friendly staff and clean place cannot fault the room we stayed in… however, a few minor touches to the room bothered me with no main light in our bedroom. All we had was lamps which wasn’t ideal as couldn’t see much if needed. My biggest problem and don’t think I’m the only one that has this problem, has to be the sheer noise of the outside street with the pubs loud and folk outside at weekends. Had a window vent which didn’t do the trick to reducing noise, if anything it felt like our window was open!!!Went down to reception yesterday morning to complain as had to nearly sleep in bathroom the noise outside and folk shouting outside at 2 am was really stressing me out 😔😔, nearly had to move to another room!!It’s a comfortable stay but please do avoid booking a room book the ‘River view’ ones instead… it’s not worth £512 to stay in a front facing room facing the Main Street then having to endure the ruckus outside of the pubs and city life… needs to be measures made I.e get sound proofing windows. It’s tarnished both me and my other half’s stay shame about the stress of the noise, sadly won’t be returning

Everything was fine until they charged us a £90 parking violation. We followed the instruction of the hotel to register our license plate at the front desk and they told us they would charge the parking fee of £10/night (if i remember …

Staff were very good with helping us store bicycles, arranging a twin room etc. Room bathroom and bed quality were all good. Try pleasant bar and lounge type areas - quiet and peaceful while we were there. Thank you - made our unscheduled stop in Inverness due to Storm Ashley very bearable.

Don't stay here if you want a good night's sleep to drive safely the next day. We stayed on a Saturday night. Partying down below on the streets (bars, pubs below, loud music, drunken shouting). I share this full disclosure because it would have been respectful for the front desk to share this. I shared with day manager, and he didn't have much to say - offered a free drink in the bar (at 1030 am in the morning?!) We paid over $500 for 2 rooms, hoping for a restful night. We left more exhausted. Be wise. Now I see 59 pounds typically for nights? Manager did not even offer to comp half the nights stay. Poor customer damage control. Hence this review. Live and learn.

The rooms are neat, personnel is nice and food in the restaurant is good. Unfortunately the restaurant for breakfast looks old and dirty (windows have not been cleaned since long time), the choice of food is very limited and very often during the breakfast someone is vacuuming the carpet. Lady at the reception desk forgot about my husband loyalty program and treated us as regular guests despite being the gold card club team member. Location is very good and view at the river would be nice if someone cleaned the windows.

We had a lovely dinner at the hotel. Anna and Daisy were wonderful servers, very attentive and kind. Even with all our silly tourist questions. Definitely felt well taken care of.

This is a very comfortable and luxurious hotel, but for the 20th century. There aren't any charging ports next to the bed (ikr), one portion of the room isn't lit at all, and all infrastructure screams 'fancy but old' - faded discoloured gold plated door handles, exposed radiators, elevators that indicate the floor you have selected by just making that button brighter which is not helpful because of the unevenly lit button panel, the general styling and vibe - everything screams OLDAnd it's not just that it's old, it's old in a way that no one has cared to check if it needs any upgrades - even after multiple reviews have called it out and acknowledged by the hotel in replies. Stay was comfortable but just felt weird.
