Rarely can you get accommodation where the price point versus what you get is so on point. In fact, I would say it is comparatively generous! The place is spotless and I was really happy with my room. The staff are lovely and Panny was also extremely helpful when my car had issues as he gave me a jump and called round a local mechanic.Location is perfect and it is close to a nice little pub with decent food.Hard to beat!

I booked this a bit last minute due to the location near to Galloway forest park and other sections of coastline we wanted to visit. The booking was very fair priced, especially for the time of year. Although the accommodation is basic, the parking, location and cleanliness was an added bonus and it has everything you need as well as comfy beds. The owner or manager of the property was very helpful and friendly in making sure we knew where we were going, how to check in and giving further advise for us. There is also a large shared kitchen/ and a section with tables and chairs which is also great for bringing your own breakfast.Would deffinitley stay here again if we are in the area in the near future.Party size 2 adults 2 children large room with 6 beds in total.

We came here as very last-minute due to bad weather. We arrived after reception had closed, yet we called the contact number on the door and had a member of staff with us within five minutes. The manager is so helpful. He got us all set up in our family room, which was immaculate and perfect for us.After deciding to stay for another extra night, he went to the next level, ensuring that we could stay together as a family in smaller rooms next to each other as the family room was booked. All rooms were well kept and very clean. Thanks a lot, Panny, and the rest of the staff who helped make our experience so great.

Hostel type accommodation, very good value. Friendly and helpful welcome, covered bike storage available. Rooms are basic but clean and there is a communal kitchen to make drinks etc.About a 20min walk to the local eatery, which was very good.Recommended.

On arrival I went up the drive to the side and parked at the rear. I went inside and was checked in by Pandy. He showed me the communal areas including the kitchen. …

One of Scotland's Rare Finds.. like a mini Hostel but with the friendliest bunch of folk you are ever likely to meet. Rooms are basic and immaculate..all en-suite.the shared kitchen has loads of useful stuff and decent area to sit and eat including tables outside. it's a very quiet setting.. good parking..I'm going back next week as I've missed the place & the people. Fabulously stocked shop about 40 paces away too. Brilliant!!

Clean & warm but there's no storage space to put your stuff. Steep stairs but I believe there are other rooms that are more accessible if your mobility isn't great.Lovely staff.I would say this place is more of a hostel and perhaps better suited for short stays. Nice area . helpful staff . The rooms downstairs are very doggy smelling so ideal if you have a dog with you. There are some good walks in the surrounding area , very scenic.
