We read the reviews after booking, rather than before, and almost cancelled but I'm really glad we didn't.  …

Great accomodations if you don't mind a cramped room on a budget. Room was clean, but did smell like mildew. Can't open window, but keeping door open for a bit aired it right out. Could barely fit into the bathroom to use the toilet - larger patrons beware, lol. No frills indeed, but the bed was OK and there's a TV and a shower. I'd say it's a great stay for backpackers or single people wanting to check out Inverness without spending much time in the room. There actually seems to be two sets of rooms. I stayed in the tiny rooms that were built out of a shed in the alley. You have to find the right gate, enter a code, go past the backdoor of the Panasonic shop, and then use the lock box code sent to you via email to get your key. No front desk available, but no check in or out necessary.

I had booked what I could see in the photos with Hotels.com that the room would be over a shop, instead of which I was informed just beforehand that they would be behind the shop! …

In what is basically a converted shed this is a bare bones, basic place to stay. I knew what to expect and this updated garden shed was acceptable for a few days stay but there were many problems along the way. …

DO NOT STAY HERE. Arranged a one night booking here via popular Booking site. When we arrived we still hadn’t received the access code to get into the building despite chasing and the owner did not respond to calls, texts or emails so we had to arrange some very last minute emergency accommodation. They then refused to give a refund and were very rude on the phone when it was THEIR mistake. If you read through the reviews on Booking you’ll see countless examples of people from all over complaining about the poor service and dreadful conditions of the accommodation. Considering the number of people staying here from overseas, I hate to think of the awful impression it made on their holiday in the UK considering the number of reviews saying how awful their stay was. Again, if you need somewhere to stay in Inverness, AVOID THIS PLACE.

Very quiet for being next to the main road, rooms were spotless, just needed some handy men to fix some things in the place. The TV was fairly a pain to use, as was just looking for a normal free view tv, but I couldn't even find the news. But lots of other things to watch.

The facilities are not like a 3 star property. Needs some improvement yet the room was clean. There was some noise from the street because it is at the main lane.
