The hotel is very basic set back from a busy main road behind a petrol station ample parking but very uneven in the dark, room was very clean and to say a train line runs behind the hotel you never heard and the heater in the room did make …

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was very good, especially as you take dogs. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room, bed and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Our only criticism was the hotel was a bit tired. Had a curry one night from the adjacent Indian restaurant, which was excellent. Would stay again.

Booked in for 2 nights at this Travelodge. It was very convenient having a Starbucks right there when you tumble out of bed. A great mid-way stop. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Highly recommended for those looking for something cheaper and comfortable.

Stayed here for a couple of overnight stays on the way up to Skye and also on the return from Skye. We stayed in 2 different dog friendly rooms. The rooms are of a good size and found the rooms to be clean. …

We needed a cheap and cheerful place to rest our heads for a couple of nights while attending a funeral nearby.TravelLodge was the cheapest place around. As long as you know what you to expect, a budget hotel, you won't be disappointed. But the bed and pillows were comfy, the room was clean, the shower was hot and the staff were all friendly.Only issue we had were the people in the room above us who sounded like they had elephants in the room late last night and early this morning.

This is great in terms of getting the best for what you pay. A cheap stop with very clean rooms with TV, kettle and drinks, towels, hot water, basic soap, plenty of room, comfortable bed. Nice polite staff and helpful. In spite of being beside road and rail, the room was quiet. Sparsely furnished but the basic offer is what keeps the price down so no complaints. I only wish they didn't have the horrible nets, an obscuring blind would be nicer.

Plus side, staff member was informative and friendly, location was handy for what we were needing to do, a bath, price was very reasonable and if you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head it's fine. Negative side, rooms are basic, I've never stayed in a travel lodge this basic, no glasses, hardly any plugs, no hairdryer. Furniture was very shabby and lock on door looked like it had been kicked in at some point. Bath was tiny and had a weird mat stuck in. There is a train line out the back and main road out the front so a bit noisy. No bar attached to the hotel or nearby so get your own glasses and a carry out, a wee takeaway and you will be sorted

Rooms havent been updated for years, clean and tidy but tired and very basic. Reception were friendly. Next to the A82 so easy to find but not near enough Dumbarton to walk into town. Local facilities limited.

I've stayed in much much better travelodges. There was only 2 towls when there was 4 of us. There was 1 power point but there was 4 people in the room. There wasn't enough cups it was absolutely freezing the heating wasn't working. It really wasn't very good in my opinion. I've definitely stay in much better ones where they were way more organised. It was a 2 out of 10 at best and that's pushing it. Wouldn't recommend it. It was also super loud and noisy.
