I recently stayed at this hostel, and it was a huge disappointment. The only positive aspects were the central location and the availability of a parking lot. Beyond that, everything else was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price.First, the rooms are incredibly small and cramped. The beds are so close together that you can practically feel your neighbor breathing (snoring and farting too). There's absolutely no privacy—no curtains or dividers—so you're basically sleeping in a crowded dorm. Speaking of beds, the mattresses are thin to the point where you can feel the metal frame underneath, making it nearly impossible to get a decent night's sleep. The toilets are equally tiny and uncomfortable to use. As for the breakfast, it's grossly overpriced and far from hygienic. They have jars of marmalade sitting out, opened and clearly used by multiple guests which is quite concerning. In short, this hostel might have a good location, but that’s about it. The poor facilities, lack of privacy, uncomfortable beds, and questionable hygiene make it a terrible value for the price. I would not recommend staying here.

I booked at Inverness Student hotel during one organized tour throughout the Highland as I only stayed in Inverness for one night.Let’s get straight to the point : the pros are indubitably the very central location of the place (5 min to walk from the city centre) and the really cheap prices. Don’t expect much further than that. The rooms are very small, the beds are extremely close to each other, making it difficult to have any sort of privacy and the 2 toilets / 2 showers just aren’t enough for all the residents.Didn’t have too much to do with the staff outside checking in but the girl at the reception was kind.If you are travelling on a budget, this is the way to go but if you have higher expectations consider going somewhere else.

One of the, if not THE, best hostel I’ve visited!Great location, even better layout and the best service. Lovely staff, who mostly consist of travelers themselves! Just tap them on the shoulder and they’ll be ready to start a lovely chat. Also amazing place to meet other people and do stuff together. For solo travelers, you may be alone, but you’re never lonely!

Super Crammed rooms, only one outlet for entire room so we have to share. Heaters don’t work very well so room is always cold, I visited in October so cold weather . Kitchen was small , bathrooms were small and really crammed , only 3 showers and 2 bathrooms. This is supposed to be a budget hostel but for the price I feel like I should have gotten more.

Nice hostel with comfy beds, free tea/coffee/jot chocolate all day. Staff is very kind and friendly to talk to.Toilets and showers are fewer than needed for a place this size and there was often a wait.

It's very tiny hostel. Common area, rooms and corridor feels congested. There are just two toilets in basement for 5 rooms having 10+ people each. So you have to queue for the toilet.Location is good. But I would rather suggest to look for spacious hostel.

Great hostel in the center of Inverness! Lovely staff, clean, and super cozy. My partner and I had an amazing time there staying for two nights. All the facilities are really clean, and the kitchen is very well equipped. A great place if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay in for good quality.
