Hey guys,||We've added our review to here & Google.||I've recently returned from a relaxing weekend at the Crown or the Croon as it is affectionately known. We arrived late on to a lively bar & a great buzz. …

Such a lovely place, if you want to stay were the guest is central to what they do then this is the hotel. We stayed on our way up to the highlands and the greeting was warm and friendly. …

Most friendly hotel that love dogs. We (me & the dog) arrived on July 19th after a wet walk. The bar was warm and friendly and check in was a breeze, the pre check in email was fantastic as I knew it was Sam on the bar. …

We ended up making a short notice booking for 3 families for dinner and they were fantastic. The food was delicious, home made, large portions and excellent value. They were also so friendly even introducing us to the family dog because we had dog obsessed small children lol.Given a chance we will definitely visit again. Thank you for a fab evening.

They charged me an extra £15 for checking out 30 minutes extra as per terms and conditions. Who reads terms and conditions? Be nice if they told me in person when we checked in, but nothing said. Maybe it was because I left the cleaner a present in the toilet, but I flushed it 4 times and it kept blocking.Shame as room was okay and shower good ...

This hotel is below basic. We tried to phone the hotel before we arrived as we were running late, and the phones don't work, nor did they 3 weeks earlier when I booked. The website has no up to date information which may have alerted us that the chef was off and no food was available that night. It is difficult to park nearby, so we had to struggle with suitcases, bags and a dog quite a way. After an 8 hour drive we had a supermarket sandwich in our room. The room was a long trek through corridors and up three flights of stairs, past patched ceilings and parts of old pianos. Our room was clean and comfy, but we were disturbed to see the electric sockets were cracked showing wires.I would not stay here again, there was a lack of interest and responsibility by the owners to anything we asked, not a good example of hospitality. In response, I refute totally all yourpoints. We arrived at 7pm, my husband was not aggressive,. We were cold, wet, tired and hungry and not welcome.

Nice pint in old fashioned pub, beer garden is lacking a garden but cosy and dog friendly. Nice location for a stop off pint. Cheers.

Wow! Is all I can say. ||I made the mistake of ordering a double burger and chips, I couldn't eat it all! I swear there was enough for two, or 4 children... ||The size of the food didn't lack quality either. …
