Lovely site- clean and well kept- amazing views!|If you are looking for a quiet well maintained site with everything you need as a camper then I recommend this lovely place. Hot showers, washing area was clean and site owners friendly and helpful. A little gem on a beautiful island!

Lovely little campsite with very friendly owners. The location of the site makes it secure from any adverse weather. Toilets are kept clean and tidy, there is fridge and freezer we could use. Little playground to keep kids amused and lovely walk just behind the kitchen area to explore a little church. Slight downside was the log lorries using the road behind the camp on couple of mornings during our stay but it was great for the kids to watch it too.

Lovely little campsite, pretty much perfect in every way. Nice welcome even though we arrived past the 6pm deadline for arrivals (had to phone when we arrived - to get toilet block code). Toilet blocks can be busy and as they are warm people seemed to congregate in them which was a bit annoying.

Stay, June 24. Booked a few days in advance. Communication with Kev via email during booking was spot on. Quick and easy. Booked the last pitch which was lovely. …

We’ve visited this campsite before , and so have members of our family, we found it to be good, that’s why we returned. Unfortunately it has changed ownership. The new owner was not very welcoming. …

Arran is a lovely island and this campsite is very near the beautiful west coast, short drive really from Brodick but feeling quite remote. Great facilities - wonderful hot showers - and friendly owners. Gound it windy at top of site but managed to prevent worst by strategic parking! Blackwaterfoot has terrific beaches.

The owners made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and continued to be helpful throughout our stay. The pitch was large enough for our 4 man tent and well spaced from the next pitch. …

A fantastic campsite. Small number of pitches for tents with good hard standing for campervans etc. we stayed in a tent with electric hookup. Very peaceful location and quiet site which we wanted. The bus stops outside the site which will take you to Brodick or Blackwater foot ( nice hotel for beers, the bakery with wonderful bread, sweet treats etc. and the two shops and butchers). We walked into Blackwater foot along the road which was ok with a dog. I wouldn't do it at night however. It's about 3 miles but as stated the bus is an option.Facilities on the site are good and well maintained/cleaned. A very friendly welcome awaits if you choose to stay here. We would definitely come back. There are walks into the forest (beware ticks, our dog came back with 8 one morning), however at the moment logging is taking place so this needs to be considered.

We stayed here as a group of five in three different tents. Kev and Pamela couldn't have been more helpful when arranging the booking and more welcoming and accommodating when we arrived. You can always tell when hospitality is genuine, and we were impressed with theirs. It had all the facilities you could need. And it is a great location for exploring Arran.
